  1. You sent a support ticket on October 11th at 8:01 AM local time to X-Aviation's server. You received a response with resolution the same day, five hours later @ 1:03pm. Please do not resurrect old forum threads like this. Second time this week you've done so. I suggest you look in your spam folder for a response.
  2. @Champguy The answer is already in this thread to not start with engines running. Additionally, this IS documented in the included documentation. You could have entirely avoided that by reading said documentation.

  5. It was a two person project, and one of those people moved on to other things.
  6. Um, there's a big difference between when you made your post on September 1st and a v2.0 release date of October 2nd. What are you confused about?
  7. There was a bug in the initial installer that caused this. If you re-download and re-install it shouldn't be an issue. Copying files from another aircraft is not recommended.
  8. Captains, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 2.0 update for the RealSimGear G5 Instruments. All customers who have purchased the G5 Instruments up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete instructions on how to obtain your update. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the G5 Instruments from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 2.0 for you. Please Note: This installer will update the Cessna 172SP, BN-2B/2T Islanders, as well as the Beechcraft Sundowner if you own any of those products. If you previously used the G5 Aircraft Installer to install the G5 to any other aircraft you will need to run the Aircraft Installer again (located in your main X-Plane folder) to update those aircraft. However, this will be the last time you'll need to do this. In the future we will track installs and automatically update ALL aircraft you have installed to after this version. What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. It will download as the latest version! The following is a list of additions/fixes included: Improvements/Bug Fixes: Migrated to new popup system Wind indication Flight director Autopilot status bar Improved knob behavior VS range (±2000 fpm or ±4000 fpm) Improvements, refactoring, and bug fixes throughout Reduce jittering of items on screen Fix cursors on popups with Windows Additional Changes Since V1.0: Migrate config file to be located in aircraft directory Add TAS and OAT indications Add CDI and VDI to PFD Improved draw capabilities for integration and customizability Add mb/hpa baro unit option As always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support! Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.
  9. As Goran previously stated to you, "This is a common problem we're seeing with AMD GPU's and running X-Plane in full screen. This is not something we can fix with code, nor is it something Laminar can fix with X-Plane. This is something AMD needs to address."
  10. None of these use this library. It makes sense you don't have issues with those, FYI.
  11. Incredibly immature, @kholt. I think you need to look in the mirror with pointing a finger at those being condescending. You'll quickly find what the mirror tells you. Time to cool it for a bit with a few day suspension.
  12. Or an assumption you probably shouldn't be making. Thousands of users. You're the one in here reporting broken font issues. The other bits were acknowledged. You may be smart, but let's not go so far as to assume you should be condescending.
  13. No, there is no curated list, and I don't believe there are widespread issues either. The next time this happens please post your log.txt file from your X-Plane folder. That will leave a lot more clues for us in the crash data.
  14. No one has X-Plane 12 yet, and until we do we cannot comment on anything with guarantees.
  15. This window is likely being hidden somewhere. You may need to unplug all monitors down to just one to get this sorted and activated. X-Plane can be a bit wonky with multi monitor setups. Once activated you can plug the others in.
  16. The activation takes place in the sim, not the installer. Your log file now shows that an activation window is being shown, but there's no activation from you. Do you have multiple monitors? This could be causing you to not see the activation window.
  17. This has been documented with a solution for years (since 2016).
  18. There is no activation from you at all in our system. Are you sure it's correctly placed? In the log you previously provided us it wasn't even being loaded (or even attempted to load). Something isn't right here. Can you re-upload a new Log.txt file?
  19. It looks as though you removed the Gizmo64.plugin folder out of the X-Plane plugins folder and into the Resources folder. This is causing the issues you're experiencing.
  20. Do you have some kind of anti-virus or firewall running by chance? There is a plugin not being installed in your images above. If you don't have an anti-virus it would seem as though you have some write permission issues in your X-Plane plugins folder.
  21. Librain is for aircraft developers. It will do nothing on its own, so no, this is not for you. Those are good settings to have!
  22. Once things are dead they cannot be brought back to life. You killed it when you made this thread.
  23. I would imagine those aircraft have their own sound packs, and so SoundMaxx would not touch them. In that instance it would enhance the outside environment.
  24. You have no valid license for the G5. Do you have a multi monitor setup? It's asking you to activate, but you're clearly not seeing it.
