  1. Whether the memory check is there or not would not make a difference to what you're describing. More than anything it just sounds like you have too much going on...too high of settings in SMP, or loads of scenery. Bottom line, contrary to what you believe, the Memory Check is not significant at all.
  2. Let's not start an endless FAQ about beta testing, please.
  3. We are still testing.
  4. It's nothing but a report of what your current GPU and system RAM are reporting as available to the sim. There's no performance hit to this. It is there so we (the developers) can see what was going on before you crashed. It does not "cause interruptions of the simulation flow".
  5. That log entry basically costs nothing. We have seen reports where XLife seems to be pretty resource intensive and as such the sim crashes with other items installed throwing it over the edge. I would try uninstalling XLife and just see if your crashes disappear after this as a test.
  6. It would run, but your biggest hurdle is going to be the Intel Iris card. You can hookup an external monitor through a mini displayport or HDMI cable.
  7. It's a joke, folks.
  8. Well, it's coming soon[emoji769].
  9. A release is better.
  10. Well, it shows you weather.
  11. You may need to drop your cache.

  13. Forums are not a section for this type of support. Please refrain from sending multiple tickets as you have.
  14. Nothing free of charge that will work for your needs.
  15. ...or if that captain is already on the squad.
  16. This is a very loaded question. Skill, technical understanding, some pretty gross math and algorithms, 3D modeling, texturing...all of this comes together to play into it. The easiest way to answer 'What does it take?'... 5 years and a team of four dedicated artists.
  17. For the record I am a Mac user and hate the natural way Apple feels it should be. Because of this I tick that preference box off and go back to the old style. I can totally see your point. It's just hard to accept such change when you've been trained to think the opposite for so many years.
  18. I have not personally checked this one out for the moment, so can't say. My experience thus far has been airline operating manuals and the Mike Ray book.
  19. But on a Mac it's a "natural" feeling. There are no labels on a trackpad. Arrows labeled down and up would play tricks on my brain as well if they did opposite of what my brain is trained an arrow means. I expect a down arrow to mean it moves the page DOWN...lower. Towards the bottom of the screen. Same concept goes for up!
  20. Great book, and we highly recommend.
  21. The 737 code far outweighs it. By a lot.
