  1. The Citation X by Laminar Research is my 2nd favorite business/corporate jet (it would be my fav if it was model to the standard of the CL650). I created a C750 checklist that turned out to be rather popular, but nothing compares to the video below: The default Cessna Citation X, by Laminar Research, is worth the purchase price of X-Plane, IMO.

  3. It is now (thanks Pils)...and I'm still making my way back home. We're pretty much done with the issues list for deployment and only have to get though technical infrastructure and deployment prep, but as mentioned before, that's not an overnight thing, but it is the 'final leg' of this route. The plan is to get this 'port + compatibility patch' out, which I'm sure will result in plenty of issues reported, but then immediately begin addressing those issues and start the road towards our planned improvements. The obvious 'improvement roadmap' consists of converting our sound work to FMOD, improve FMS operation and finally a new 3D exterior, these are the things to bring the IXEG into 'modern times'. I'm sure this work will roll well into 2024 and the goal is to just keep going. After those obvious items are addressed is when will think about any other 'options' to the product. Its enough of a heavy lift job to overhaul this thing from 2009 tech as it is. -tkyler

  4. So I've flown a few more flights to try and figure out what is happening. There is no slow battery drain. Rather the main battery and/or the APU battery go from full charge 98-100% down to 0% instantly. Causing the respective battery offline message to appear in the EICAS. Study page confirms 0V, as does the DC elec page which also has the battery no longer green. It seems to be able to occur in any stage of flight: on ground, in cruise, on approach. Reloading to before such an event took place results in it not happening. Whenever it does happen, the HYD page shows a display overflow of digits. The battery does charge again subsequently. There are no active failure scenarios. Below are some screenshots of a new airframe (newly created and first flight) on its maiden flight with the main battery dropping to zero after being enroute for around 45-50 minutes. Showing DC, AC, HYD, overhead panel, electrical study page for the failed battery. The summary was taken a few minutes later. I'm running the latest stable xplane 12 version on an M1 mac.

  5. Without coming across as egotistical, I seriously doubt that. So far, there are 30 beta updates that are addressing other issues. Also, the people have been asking for the TBM to be XP12 compatible. Although I can appreciate the fact you would like VR in the 650, we've been getting far more requests for the TBM to be updated to XP12.

  6. The oil temp is being looked into against our database of real flight logs. Tuning will be in the next update.

  7. I get an email each time this post is updated. One day, I'm gonna click open that email and it's gonna say, "It's ready. Get it now!" (or something like that).
