  1. If you notice ice is building up on the windscreen, it's high time to turn on the TKS system and escape from the icing conditions. Pretty sure then ice is also building up on your airfoils and the propeller, which is what will ultimately lead to a crash. The TKS system isn't designed to fly continuously in icing conditions, it's merely a tool to help you escape from those without falling out of the sky. So when it happened to me, I set up both, the air conditioning and the TKS system to get rid of the ice. If one of them alone would have cleared the windshield, I do not know.

  2. Support for the SteamDeck + is currently being added to Spad.Next to allow you to not just read the switches and dial but to dynamically update the button display including simple gauges. (The Loupedeck will hopefully be getting support for setting labels and images as well at some point)

  3. that was poorly worded, sorry. "I have already put it in place in my development work, so as to be part of a future update for V12" It is not in place in the currently available version. With X-Plane's RC4, released today, I think X-Plane is in a good place to resume Moo tweaks. I'll probably release updates in two stages. 1) Visual changes, i.e. the rain effects and tweaked lighting...which just looks nicer. 2) Flight model refinement. I separate out the flight model refinement because it performs reasonably well in XP12 and most users, (me included) enjoy the more visual and sensory aspects of simming rather than 'by the numbers', i.e "we put in gas....we fly....make sure no needled go red, and enjoy the ride" Chasing numbers always involves more in depth tweaks, longer testing period, and frustrations fighting X-Plane's default models and I don't want to withold some of the cooler XP12 visual features while flight testing/refinement takes place. -tkyler

  4. Im glad about that response, to be honest I dont want xplane addons in msfs, I dont consider msfs as in depth of a simulator as xplane. When developers are having to port aircraft from one sim to another quality drops significantly. Inibuilds are good developers however the msfs a310 is incomplete/buggy, while im sure they will sort the bugs out eventually the decision by them to run on both platforms have left four incomplete/buggy aircraft one for msfs and three for xplane 11. Updates for one platform have to wait until completion of the other. I would prefer if addon developers would stick to one simulator and put the time and effort into one simulator so there arms are not stretched out beyond belief. If your prefer msfs thats fine but in a discussion about the 733 in xp12 I dont think it has a place but each to their own.
