  1. Hi I didn't know the notions of part 91 and 135 (used in the USA among others). One more thing in my brain :-) To come back to Simbrief and the ETOPS Scenario block, I can do anything I want between 120 and 180 minutes. It's up to me, the head honcho of my company, to define my certification... or not Thank you Hervé

  2. In the Challenger v1.4 we're introducing a new capability for the THRUST LIMIT page - selecting either derated (FLEX) or maximum (MTO) takeoff modes. Please see the attached PDF for a description how to set these up. CL650_FLEX_MTO.pdf

  4. Hi @xXFabi95, The encoder mapping doesn't support value_min and value_max (https://mauer.github.io/xmidictrl/#/inbound_mapping_encoder). However, I understand what you are trying do to and the addition those parameters will be a very useful. I put it on my list. Will be included with the next version. Thanks for the great idea! Cheers, Marco

  5. As the title says: although I have version 1.4 installed, there is no second page on the trust limit page for choosing flex temp. I reinstalled but at no avail.

  8. Closed the gap at the top of the cabin sliding door. The visors might be tricky. I mean, they need to go somewhere.

  10. @InitiatedAunt74, I would agree that it doesn't seem Gizmo would be for you on the premise that you prefer a per-aircraft setup. Linux is up in the air as well, and as you've indicated that's important for you. For now, we really aren't utilizing it for anything but payware. That may change one day, but not for now. I won't get into semantics over your displeasure with Ben, but I will stand up for Gizmo and state that it's extremely powerful and optimized over the competing option. Only other note, while irrelevant at this point, is Gizmo is installed already on hundreds of thousands of computers. The per aircraft thing is kind of moot anyhow at this point. Chances are very, very slim someone you have installing whatever future product you create doesn't also have Gizmo installed anyhow. Best of luck in whatever you create!

  11. Maybe it's your entitled attitude that should be downed. Gizmo is alive and well. You, wanting a free lunch, will have to wait your turn. I owe you exactly nothing.

  12. @InitiatedAunt74 currently the only way to get the Gizmo plugin is if you own any X-Aviation product. Uh wait what? I thought Gizmo was available for, and required by a variety of freeware aircraft including the PIAGGIO P180_Avanti_II from this forum's downloads section. There's a website with a broken dropbox link, but this Gizmo thing, which is uniquely associated with x-pilot and x-aviation is now abandonware that can't be downloaded anywhere? >Gizmo64 is a plugin for the X-Plane flight simulator that lets you program in Lua Script. So, now, besides not being available for Linux, which is one of the three platforms that XPlane users use, we have the issue that it's basically not possible to get this and use it for aircraft developers, or people using things that rely on it? Shouldn't the gizmo64.com website be downed then? Other references on other forums point to this being used by other commercial and freeware products.
