  1. The method of flying a holding pattern with the G1000 as implemented: Have the holding fix as the next waypoint (i.e., you are navigating to that fix) Press the OBS softkey on the PFD to suspend waypoint sequencing Adjust the inbound course using the CRS knob to be the inbound track of the holding pattern Fly inbound legs along the depicted track Fly outbound legs parallel to the depicted track and time your legs You can't tell G1000 to depict a holding pattern in your flight plan, but it will fly a depicted hold / procedure turn as part of an instrument approach / missed approach.

  2. It seems that I discovered the defect, after having reinstalled everything, from the operating system and the simulator, when I put my joystick settings in the control profiles folder the error happened again, I deleted the TBM 900 joystick definition from the control profiles folder and even the moment, the error did not happen again, there were 4 days suffering with this bug ... if the error returns, I hope not, I will publish again, grateful for the attention ...

  3. @Coop OK. I still seem to need a lot of down trim, no matter how I load the plane, however I obviously accept your explanation. The trim quadrant markings are heavily biased to the up position, which would seem to indicate that the manufacturer expected one to need quite a bit of nose-up trim at some time. Or, was it the fact that they would have used the same part from the avgas version, and it bears little relation to the expected behaviour of the turbine version? I find the differences in loading the two varieties quite interesting. The swapping of the avgas engines for the turbines seems to have made a significant alteration to the W&B situation. Anyway, they are fun to fly, and I'm enjoying using them - and that's what it's all about

  4. BN-2B - Vintage Loganair (G-BJOP) View File Fly the Scottish isles in style! Includes the '80s and '90s paint schemes for G-BJOP, ex-Loganair Islander (now registered to Hebridean Air Services as G-HEBR). Includes some light custom weathering, and the score mark added after an unfortunate encounter with a sheep on the '80s livery. I recommend using this with the "Backcountry" interior mod available here (Loganair's current Islanders have dark grey panels) Due to the limited amount of photographs available for this plane, I had to tweak some things and wing it a bit in some places -- let me know if there's anything that should be changed! 5. Ok, I've revisited this topic with Saso (programmer and flight model author), and this is the official word from both of us. Any future questions about P-factor/propeller induced roll, will go unanswered. I suppose the proverbial arm twisting has had an effect. Thank you for your feedback. We're aware there are some flight dynamics missing in the takeoff department and we'll be addressing those issues in a future update.
