Doh! Can't believe I didn't piece that together.
Thanks, Frank!
I was going under the assumption you were using 'Always' in RWC, Chris. You may want to set it to that in your non-beta version and then you'll have weather again!
0:00:00.322 E/NET: Download failed with http error: 404 for URL http://weather.noaa.gov/pub/data/observations/metar/cycles/22Z.TXT
That error message is actually X-Plane itself being unable to download its own METAR data; it's not coming from SMP or RWC. X-Plane's own METAR download was broken by the same issue that affected RWC. You need to install X-Plane 10.50rc3 or newer in order to fix that.

One of the last summer days here in Poland, +30c at ground level results in some nice CB buildups during climb
On my way to Salzburg, Austria!
And some more cockpit porn! ;]
Thanks for the detailed answer!
It's amazing that you are being able to run at Max Cloud Distance with 4GB VRAM. Although, it's good to know! lol
Now, all I can do is hope that the BRL - USD rate drops. Because with 3.5 - 1, things get a little impossible!
