  3. These are not beauty pics, they're strictly functional for showing frame-rates over a large city, (New York) which stayed locked at 30 with Vsync on and between 30 and 45 with it off. Frames tended to dip while taking screenshots. Cutting to the chase, it seems this tech combo does really well with X-plane! Its hard to Imagine wanting much more......... 0 Hi! Devon

  4. I fly X-Plane on a top of the line iMac and had begun having numerous software crashes in version 10.40+. I also have a ton of custom scenery and a large number of plugins. Thinking those could be the source of the crashes, I did a clean install of the most current 10.40 release (prior to the release of 10.50), but still experienced software crashes that would usually take place after around 30 minutes of flying, but sometimes sooner. Additionally, it didn't seem to matter what aircraft I was flying, and I had become so frustrated with 10.40+ that I was reluctant to even start it. After updating with the first several releases of 10.50 beta, the crashes continued, whether in the clean version or the one with all the custom scenery and plugins- and, of course, 10.50 had several glitches that were being ironed out. Upon installing 10.50b6, however, I found X-Plane to be running BEAUTIFULLY, with absolutely no crashes, even with all the add-ons. WELL DONE X-PLANE DEVELOPERS! If you haven't seen the buildings in 10.50b6, just take a look at Honolulu. This shot is taken from just west of Diamond Head, looking toward PHNL. The buildings are stock X-Plane 10.50b6, however, the water off Waikiki is enhanced with a photo scenery add-on.

  5. Flew between Honolulu and Hilo yesterday and hand-flew the -300 all the way up to cruise altitude quite nicely, and even for a while at cruise. Handles like a dream, even at 23,000 feet.

  8. That looks like corruption in the video card. Either drivers or hardware.

  9. Thanks for your feedback everyone. Ill stick to 4x SSAA for now. The FXAA is too blurry for me. :/ Im running X-plane at 1440p and get some stuttering at detailed and mesh'y areas with 4x SSAA. Waiting for the Intel gen 7 before ill do any CPU upgrades. And yeah. 2x SSAA would maybe be the "perfect" setting if it existed.

  11. Really liking this aircraft. Fitting that one of the paints looked real close to the San Diego Chargers American Football Team Colors. So I had to add the Charger Shield Horse on the door and show it off. Shot was taking at KSAN. About to take it out for spin after 4th of July family dinner which consist of Hamburgers on the barbie Pie Chips, dip and Watermelon. Yummy!!!!!!. Oh while we eat dinner we watch 1996 Independence day, not the new one. Cheers Dion
