  1. In preparation for the upcoming release IXEG 737, I am steaming ahead in my sim build. Crossed a major milestone today. Got the DME digital readouts working on the real HSI. Made a video of a departure out of Las Vegas on pilotedge. Warning, video for true aircraft geeks only. LOL Rob

  2. Think I have already, but don't remember where Around 20 will be available for free at/around release, most of them you can see in the gallery at ixeg.net. The ones we have made so far are based on the location (country) of visitors to the ixeg website so that as many as possible will be satisfied. More "exotic" ones will be made after v1.0. Also we expect 3rd party painters to fill in the gaps pretty fast. Making a livery with the paintkit is pretty simple if you are used to photoshop. Personally I can do one in an evening or two depending on the complexity. M

  3. This means that someone with normal skills will need a week or two, though .

  4. Not much new to add other than we're still in beta with our group. I think we're getting close to the end though.

  5. Thank you! I am 2 miles north of KSBN, or 1.5hrs east of Chicago and 2.5hrs north of Indianapolis. Come on over and fly!

  6. Gauges are all REAL 737 gauges all bought from various sources online. Prices vary wildly so be patient and shop around. Interfacing all this is no trival task but very rewarding none the less. If anyone is ever in my area feel free to come by and fly it. Rob

  9. Wow this is really mind blowing. Are those gauges replicas, I mean you mentioned "real" HSI in your post, so I guess those are actually real. Where did you get them from? And out of curiosity how much should one expect to pay / invest in a real gauge like the HSI? Keep the great work up! I'm really hoping to see more of those videos! Best regards, BaBene

  11. We're carefully splitting our time between a few different areas. Saab update, Citation work and the Sundowner upgrade. I've been trying to keep things organized, which is why we've been quiet. Thought I would post a couple of screenshots of the Sundowner progress. Definitely getting there slowly. Still going to dirty up the radios a bit.

  12. When you fly oversea, and Mr. Kyler:s FMC fails, this should be used instead: http://www.dh-aircraft.co.uk/news/files/fa209f26b0321f2de7499e6f2c846588-101.html (Periscopic Sextant) Hereby I state that I refuse to buy this airplane if above function is not implemented. Mr. Kyler should scrap the FMC and release the airplane with this tool. Those who agree, please vote by agreeing in this thread. The other people who do not understand the magnitude of importance for this, state the reason why you not concede. Mr Kyler, I demand you to release the airplane now without the FMC.

  13. As a sailor most of my life I'm used to back-to-basic map navigation and primitive equipment at speeds of 5-10 kts which is a big enough challenge in bad weather, poor visibility and complex waters . I have huge admiration for pilots who did this in hundreds of knots in similar conditions. Now you can just punch everything into your routing software or FMS in advance and just monitor. LNAV and VNAV is for cowards... (but probably has saved many thousands of lives)

  14. Quick update: I got the HD Mesh for Molokai to work, just need to do the final tweaking of the coastline and then it's on to Molokai Airport... then Kalaupapa...

  15. Most will be real world, with maybe 2 or 3 fictional liveries. I'll be making a paintkit and using that to make quite a few liveries. Not sure of a number yet, but maybe around 10, give or take a few. I have a nice little workflow developed, and pumping them out shouldn't be too much of a chore.
