  1. Enhanced my Delta Livery by adding the logo on the belly. Delta Air Lines is slowly adding belly logos to their aircraft! Showing off my Swissair Livery, grab it on the org! And two nice cockpit shots for you!

  2. Hi all. We'll start this new forum off with a section regarding the FMS and autopilot because that just happens to be what we are working on. If you have any questions about the FMS/AP, this will be the place to post it. The FMS is still a work in progress but we are toiling on it every single day and things are coming together well. One reason we have taken a long time on the project, besides doing it in our spare time, is we really want to get the FMS 'right'. We expect our 737 to see heavy use on VATSIM and it is critical that users be able use the FMS reliably, especially for any change ATC might through at you unexpectedly. With our IXEG pilot guru, Captain Jan Vogel being a current, real-world airline pilot, nobody knows better what we absolutely must get right in order to recreate the pilot experience. For the last few weeks, we have been working on route editing features. It is surprising just how complex things can get. In all cases though, the FMS needs to be able to process your input, even a mistake or a change in mind and generate a flyable route. Below is a little video that showcases some of the route editing features of our FMS! NOTE: DO subscribe to our YouTube channel if you want to be informed of future videos! Also, if you're new to our YouTube Channel, be sure to check other videos by Jan! If you have seen any of Jan's videos, you know how good they are for learning! -Tom Kyler

  3. I don't find HDR to be that big a deal and do 100% of my simming with it off. You can keep the map light, I'll take the fps. Also, I can't stand the simulated engine exhaust. It looks so fake.

  4. There are plenty of other products available to purchase today if you are unwilling or unable to wait for a product that has been completed to a standard that we feel is acceptable to sell.

  5. Jan is producing tutorial videos at the moment. Already a couple of hours of your favorite 737 flightinstructor Those tutorial videos alone are worth getting this aircraft in my opinion - and - they will also increase your enjoyment of the other aircraft that you might have in your hangar. To give you an idea what this might be worth.. http://www.mypilotstore.com/MyPilotStore/secp/225 Attach are a screenshot from one of these videos. (reduced image quality)

  6. I've added a third computer to my pit and some new monitors but I cannot find the cockpit forum, if someone can find it and move this, that would be great. Cockpit now has 3 computers, 1 hack for master, 2 PCs as slaves, the 3rd bolted under the desk. A chair out of an old dodge with a 300 watt subwoofer sealed in the base, a mac mini for XHSI, and an iPad for various view commands. All the buttons and the Saitek Panels are programmed with ControllerMate software, and all planes have they own .xjm file with appropriate dateref for each command, so all buttons, switches and axis are the same across all aircraft. Makes X-Plane hard to walk away from..

  7. Sifting through photos in the endless piles of pictures my parents took, I ran across a weirdly accurate prediction of my future obsession - I'm wearing a plane covered shirt and I am at the controls of the great B727. Just a trip down memory lane...
