  1. I saw the first release announcement, I have read bunch of threads and decided to wait. I did not have to wait long and I saw the new release and even more replies with very happy customers. Well, Cameron Team, you convinced me. I am buying Maxx Pro this weekend and I already know I will love it. Great job with the update, Gentlemen, I did not have the product but I can see that it is working great now. Can not wait to start using it, I mean it. Cheers, AJ

  2. Hey, guys, One more thing to add on top of all of this... I realize that everyone seems to have really fantastic FPS in version 1.1, and as such it's really, really easy to keep the settings at a very high setting with little to no impact. That said, in real weather conditions this may actually be contributing to this problem even more for you! This length of this pause will also depend on how many cloud puffs need to be generated to fulfill the conditions specified. So, if you've cranked up your draw distance and detail settings, set "overcast" to the max quality, and an overcast layer pops in - that's an insane amount of puffs, and it will take awhile to place them and upload their vertices to the GPU. For those of you reporting very long pauses in real weather situations, what are your current settings? This is a trade off that you ultimately have control over. To some degree, you can think of this pause as the price you pay for it being so detailed and fast at runtime, and this is why during a sim session when clouds are loaded you have faster FPS than default clouds. We will continue to look at optimizing this, but in doing so, if we figure out a way, it may come at a cost of losing FPS as you fly.

  5. Distant clouds are not visible and it is no xplane problem. The plugin has this problem. It simply drows cloudw sudenly arround you and not infront or behind. And it has nothing to do with METAR - Real weather - or NOAA.

  6. Nice, Your English is just perfect for a french ear. Next release of the AN24 will be ready to fly with a crew of 2 via the SmartCopilot of Rhard. I use it with a friend and the Néo. But this one is not really done for 2 pilots as MCDU, ND are the same on both side ( and there is not dedicated checlists for Captain and FO ) For now the Jetsream is a good candidate for SmartCopilot, but there is no config file for it ( the file delivered with the 3D KLN90B is a beta of beta ). So i plan to buy the upcoming AN24 with my friend. This vidéo: http://xsmart-plane.com/smartcopilot/ is wonderfull., but we were afraid of the language barrier. I hope you have time enough to do a vidéo of each sequence of a flight. Claude.

  7. Ah, stupid me - should have checked the manual prior, the Airbus A319 wasn't better. And yes, out of its limits, too. I just wanted to recreate the 2008 incident. Man, those pilots did a great job! Blow an A380 in 45kts crosswinds...

  10. Yes, they work in HDR. Make sure they are actually marked as "ON" in the preferences checkbox, as well as with the slider turned up. Uninstalling was the proper way to go, and it's okay to keep those sky colors as is.
