Hello, Captains!, Today we're pleased to show you the official Saab 340A promo video! The video highlights a number of features on this aircraft, and also brings to light the fact we are using a brand new 3D sound engine called soundXtreme! This was developed in-house by X-Scenery to squash issues we felt were present in existing sound solutions. We will provide more info about the sounds on this aircraft in a bit, but to put it simple: the sounds on this aircraft are amazing. We felt this was a big part of the experience in order to make it real, and we went to great lengths to get every possible sound on the real Saab 340A to make this happen! This includes everything from all cockpit warnings, pump sounds, and exterior/interior sounds. Again, more on this part of the aircraft soon! Also present in the video is a number of unannounced liveries. This is still only some of the liveries we have in store for you, and we'll be sure to show all of those off soon too! We've worked incredibly hard on this aircraft...particularly the last 12 months...to ensure we have created an add-on that people would be satisfied with, and seeing comments like the ones in these forums is very encouraging and motivating, and we appreciate them. Any products released from this day forward will lack X-Plane 9 support. It's as simple as that.

Move on. There's absolutely nothing at the org you can't live without, and you can drive yourself nuts getting worked up about it. So what if the org banned you, there are better places. Like here.

Or xbox360, or ps3, and those guys get multi million dollar budgets and returns... tis the nature of all things.

It'll be a great day for X-Plane when the Saab is officially released. I'm really looking forward to it.

The first time I loaded up the beta I spent about 15 minutes playing around with, exploring, and generally swearing at (in amazement) the sound engine and the samples these guys have put together...

No one's doing anything for xp9 any more. We don't count.

When you make the purchase, you get all 3 variants.

The initial aircraft we will put up is the the Rolls Royce Engine variant. We will make available the PW and GE variants AFTER we release the RR version. Seeing as there is quite a lot of work involved with the programming for each variant, these will be payware upgrades. During the week is DC-3/Saab and "other" related work duties. Weekends are Boeing work. A nearly completed Rolls Royce RB211 Engine...

Don't even ask. After the Boeing projects are done, I'm sleeping for a month.
