OKAY! I HAVE COME TO OFFER SOME INSIGHT I know it's really late, but hey, if you need a bit of extra, this stuff should be great, especially for gears 1: the A320 family is extremely complex, firstly, good luck 2. I have found, that the best way to build an aircraft is using photos, NOT blueprints. What I did for my Fokker 100, was I made a cylinder in planemaker, the length of the actual jet, then used that as a scaler to help me match background photos of the actual jet to build over top of 3. DO NOT USE BLUEPRINTS. Blue prints are extremely inaccurate and never give a proper view of the aircraft, use ONLY PHOTOS AND DIAGRAMS THAT YOU CAN CONFIRM USING PICTURES. 4. I will make myself available for information and tips, I use blender to build my aircrafts, but a lot of the same principles should apply to animation. 5. I don't know shit about plugins, outside of very basic SASL. Sorry Here are some images that I would use to build the plane http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-photos/photos/6/5/5/1475556.jpg http://photos.plane-mad.com/9/large/9208.jpg <- this one is especially good for wingbox work, along with gear scaling, since it's almost a perfectly forward shot http://images3.jetphotos.net/img/1/8/5/3/12687_1281717358.jpg http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-photos/photos/3/1/4/1120413.jpg http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-photos/photos/8/7/0/0734078.jpg http://www.h2fc-fair.com/hm12/images/highlights/dlr01.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/38/Tragfl%C3%A4che_(Airbus_A320).jpg <- this one's a good one to study in order to figure out how the flaps move, and where they stop Hope these help Good luck! ~Michael Chang~
