  1. I flew the old C4 around the coastal mountains... all I can say is to Mr. Fabian and Mr. Spahn is... thank you :'''( you have truly made X-Plane the best looking flight simulator, alone, one top of the most realistic.

  3. One thing you can try is to make a mosaic of your tiles in PS, then create some layer masks to help adjust hue, saturation, levels, etc. Once you get the desired results, crop away.

  4. WAC is a VA in FSEconomy. I think we're pretty happy with the way we deal with aircraft. We have a mix of stuff that's available as pay- as well as freeware. All of them need to be earned, i.e. bought with the money you earn with flying the jobs available in the economic environment. I think we never had a discussion about if the fleet needs to be freeware only. There are so many possibilities, why make an artificial limitation like that? Also, e.g. the Baron, one can have it as a pretty good freeare model or buy the Carenado version. We offer liveries for both, looks like this: http://scriptmymac.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=615

  5. You're missing quite a bit more than just that, but if you're just in it for leisurely flying and don't care for the switches, autopilot systems, etc. then so be it and have fun!

  6. I don't know a better definition of "stupid" than thinking that the HD mesh by Mr. Fabian sucked... only because I forgot to create a subdirectory called "Earth nav data" wow if that doesn't give you a chuckle I don't know what will. Time to see the world in HD (and I thought I WAS before, lols)

  7. I am not going to take offence in that, but let me just say a few things: 1. This is a hobby. I am not going to deprive myself just to have something else. I can fly without a VA 2. If someone can't afford a payware, go mow lawns one weekend. $20 a lawn, you can spend a few hours and get a payware plane. 3. Life isn't fair anyway. By restricting your fleet, you are unfair to the payware owners. They want to fly their planes in your VA. and lastly... On the OP, you said So don't get mad at people giving thier opinion.

  8. I just realized what a pain photoshopping a pilot doing what he is supposed to is. They all are right on the centerline...

  10. Here are a couple of my favorite shots of the upcoming NorCal scenery. This is late afternoon near Mt. Shasta, one of the southern-most peaks in the Cascade Mountain range, which extends from Canada, through the states of Washington and Oregon, and into northern California. One of the unique features of Mt. Shasta, is the dramatic rise above the surrounding terrain - almost 10,000 feet! This, combined with the fact that there are no other large Cascade mountains in the area, make Mt. Shasta the dominant landmark in far northern California.
