  2. Hi @Iain, I'm not showing that topic as featured. If you are, can you clarify where? I'm also not seeing a ton of repeat posts being made about this upgrade since expiry aside from this topic itself. Are you seeing something I'm not? Thanks for the clarification on your post! As a side note, just prior to release of the product, full terms for the upgrade were posted along with it:

  4. Cameron It would a great, professional, and very business like, if the main "Featured" thread on the forum was updated from the original misinformation, so that people were not confused, start new threads on the topic and like myself, become really frustrated at being mislead about the upgrade. The upgrade info can be found from various sources, they all have to have the same information. I copy and pasted that parts I refer too below...the parts you highlighted (I'm really not sure why you decided to make them a different colour) need corrected. Cost Back on February 7th, 2022, a little after Laminar Research announced X-Plane 12 was coming, we published on the IXEG 737 product page that purchasing customers would receive a free product update to the X-Plane 12 version. Per that statement, we are honoring this free update for customers who purchased the IXEG 737 on or after February 7th, 2022. For customers having purchased the IXEG 737 on or before February 6th, 2022, the upgrade will be a paid upgrade of $14.95 USD. Why this pricing structure? Our goal is to keep the upgrade pricing within reach of all customers at a fair price, and will ensure continued development of the IXEG 737 into the future. This all said, we also want to provide existing customers with additional value for the upgrade cost, above and beyond just the 'porting' work required to gain Version 12 compatibility. So in order to provide additional value, we decided to develop an all-new 3D cabin, working cabin doors and wing-flex to include in the update and gain momentum towards overhauling the 733 to modern 3D standards. This work has been ongoing for the previous months and is responsible for most of the development time by @tkyler thus far. We've included some pics / links of the interior work in progress below. Regards

  6. Normally I made my custom command with FlywithLua, it works with most add-ons pretty smoothly, but somehow IXEG 737 seems have some coflect between it. What I find is as soon as I use dataref command to announce a read/write on ixeg dataref, it can't be controlled by ixeg itself (or other conflicts), I actually bump into this years ago as this: As soon as I have " dataref("IX3_ENG1S", "ixeg/733/engine/eng1_start_act", "writable") " without any other lines, ixeg will no longer able to cutout that switch by itself. Recently I got another lua to set QNH : https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/90402-lua-barometer-setting-script/ It have dataref for "sim/cockpit2/gauges/actuators/barometer_setting_in_hg_pilot" and copilot, as soon as these line are here, the auto sync pilot/copilot function in IXEG 737 would no longer works. Both these problem can be resolved by add my own lua function to achive what the ixeg system should do then, but recetly I build some new hardware and I try to use it for control IXEG's master caution buttons, however, when I have the line of: dataref("IX3_FIREB", "ixeg/733/firewarning/fire_bell_co_cp_act", "writable") dataref("IX3_MACU", "ixeg/733/caution/caution_reset_act", "writable") dataref("IX3_MARC", "ixeg/733/caution/caution_recall_act", "writable") As soon as this been active, these button would make click sound constantly, and the master caution reset button will also change tilt constantly. Weirdly, although fire bell and system annciator will have click sound, they actually can be controlled by my code and would not click away information without my command, even with constant annoying click sound... I have use this style of fwl code for many kinds of 3rd party add-on aircraft they all works great, so this is quite unique to IXEG. Use dataref tool to active these function seems not having problem, I imaging maybe something else like spad.next would work fine? but at least I can't get it works with FWL, so maybe you can take a look at this issue.

  8. Hi, reading only one part of the log is always a challenge! However this error is related to an airfoil that is missing. There are two possible reasons for it: a plane that you use , or one that was flown by AI. If you are using AI, verify the type of aircraft used

  10. Hi, I’m a student pilot training on the c23 and will start to fly at the end of this summer. I was just wondering if you had any idea on when we could expect to have a release of the product? Will I be able to train on it before the end of the summer? thank you very much and have a good day!
  11. The progress report remains the same as the last one issued:
  12. Hi, I know you had fixed the eyebrow windows pref after 1.5.1, linked below. Recently I noticed there's an issue with the yoke height prefs too. I keep my yoke a tad lower. My desired yoke height value does show with the saved prefs. However, on initial aircraft loading, the yoke is at the default height. But when I launch the aircraft prefs, the yoke snaps into the saved position without me even clicking anything else. Perhaps this can be made to read during loading the aircraft w/o having to open the prefs? Side request, @tkyler would you be able to post a under the hood progress update post? It's always good to hear the latest of how things are/aren't going, and where things are progressing next. Thanks!
  13. I suspect Active Sky X is the reason of error here. I cannot prove it tho, sometimes same fly works OK, with and without ASX.

  16. I guess they dont, thats why they hired all those extra people, just to mock us all, and I guess all the graphic improvements, CPU performance currently worked on and all the weather, aerodynamics improvements come about because they dont care. I wonder how many user really care about laminars efforst??
  17. I've seen the TV series. There was a time when I was obsessed with AK. I still love that state.
  18. Did you doublecheck your button assignments to make sure there's no button or switch assigned to move the view?
  19. Just for reference, I just had a crash with the same Error, but for the first time, and I fly the MU a lot... 12.0.9-rc-5

  22. Hello, one question, the textures for the wings are still in one file and not separate ones? I meant for XP12 version
  23. i think it might have something to do with the way i downloaded x-plane 12
  24. Yes, it is understood that the system will pick the best available position source. Nevertheless, how is IRS-FMS disagree fixed in flight? Can an IRS-FMS-disagree be fixed in flight at all? Unfortunately, there is no QRH info on that one available to me. Is it just disabling the IRS'es, and re-enabling them in flight, and waiting for a realign? If you fly in the Middle East with a lot of GPS jamming and spoofing, having an unreliable IRS all of a sudden is not a good thing ...
  25. I’m sorry you’re having trouble, unfortunately this forum has no association with xPilot the Vatsim client. You’ll need to look for support via their Discord.
  26. I hope someone can help as I cannot fly the MU2 until I resolve this problem I have posted here because I don't have the problem with other aircraft. All was well until I decided that some Quick Look views would be helpful. I have set up a few and they are assigned to buttons on my Honeycomb yoke. Unfortunately every view has the same problem. The initial view is the one I chose but then immediately the view begins slowly sliding downwards. Each view is the same and even using 'w' is affected. It doesn't matter whether I use the buttons or the keyboard - same problem. I thought for a minute I had found the culprit - Ctl+down, but not so. Any ideas appreciated - I have looked through all the pages here, but nothing found.
