  1. ... would probably also turn into a support nightmare for everyone....
  2. Try this;
  3. We can understand you being impatient, but comments like this are just not constructive and will not help motivate the coders. We have several in type pilots flying the aircraft more or less just as they would in real. As mentioned by Iain, some of you also seem to forget XP11 was released shortly after the IXEG release which took a lot of resources and now again with XP 11.1 with it's new atmosphere etc. A lot of extra surprises we have to deal with. That being said, we are not happy with the general update progress either and we are working on solutions to speed things up. M
  4. Unlike P3D/FSX, In XP, no aircraft is ever "finished". With XP's constant updates the developers need to also update all the time. Although our VNAV probably isn't the best atm, our aircraft outperforms "VNAV finished" aircraft in other areas... where we would call them "unfinished". But it all boils down to what is more import to each user. M
  5. Well, you didn't doubt, you jumped directly to a bunch of undocumented conclusions based on something we do not even use! Your PlaneMaker understanding also appears low. Your conclusion was it is "flyable" but needed your "corrections". Sorry to jump on you like that but we take our engine and flight model very - VERY - seriously and we have now spent 8 years (!) refining it, still are, and are very proud of it. (Also I said "possibly", unlike you I did not conclude it was the best...) The hardest part of making an accurate engine thrust model is getting the detailed information you need on the specific engine in question - and understand what you read! It took me 15 years to finally get this. (Austin after 25 years in the business still has not got this good information...) . Detailed engine data is highly proprietary information that you will not find laying around on the internet or in books. You need engineering manuals, engine maintenance data, FDR data, empiric data etc If you want a really accurate thrust model you need detailed information on all altitudes, temperatures, mach, N1 etc. And we do... So feel free to question the flight/engine model, but we expect any claims/conclusions to be well documented and not just an "opinion". Off course in new XP versions things get broken, so if something "changes" from what it used to be we would off course like to know about it.
  6. La fonta, we have a complete custom accurate cfm56-3-b1 model possibly the most accurate engine mdel ever made in any sim! What you see in planemaker has nothing to do whatsoever with our model, so your «observations» are all wrong. This also goes for most other planemaker values you might find. Also your observations about landing light intensity are all wrong.
  7. Lvlch will set thrust to idle and pitch to maintain airspeed. If you have a lot of drag out (gear, flaps) it WILL be steep.
  8. Sounds like maybe something went wrong with your install. I would try to reinstall the aircraft.
  9. As far as we know everything should work as usual. To rule out any pilot error, do one of our tutorial flights. Also make sure you are receiving a valid ILS signal as there seems to be some cases where the nav data frq don't match the real world maps.
  10. Dont see any DME on the RMI either, so it appears you are nor getting any ILS signal
  11. There is a deliberate delay on the outboard ground spoilers in real (1,25s). The reason is that airliner wings (supercritical airfoils, or aft loaded wings) have a larger portion of the lift on the wing trailing end (further aft than a conventional wing). So when the spoilers deploy, center of lift moves significantly forward, this will cause an UP pitching moment that *can* result in a tail strike. So by putting in a delay, the nose will be on its way down when this happens and reduces the chances.

    Machine locked

I moved it here as it is more likely XA will see it. We at IXEG cannot help with whatever this is about and do not have the power to "lock" or "unlock" anything... only XA can.
  13. Latest xp version or aircraft version...
  14. Try this; Delete theses files and update your license; X-Plane / X-Aviation / license_db.bin X-Plane / X-Aviation / marker.1
  15. You spent too many hours in the wrong seat Jan
  16. Wind/turbulence maybe?
  17. Never heard of this before. first, I would try deleting the joystick prefs . If that doesnt help, do one of our tutorials just as Jan says to rule out any pilot error.
  18. 41 new liveries added
  19. Bet the real pilots wished the real plane did that too
  20. This will also happen if brakes are on..
  21. From the beta 6 release notes Not sure if this is the same, but we can hope...
  22. Not recommended, you'll see behavior like in beta 4...
