The engine issues is not UV mapping problem , is in the paint kit itself. If you find the problem is not present in default liveries, perhaps you can copy and paste in place to fix it, or we can wait for the update

If anything would be to save his marriage hehe. I remember a post from a while ago when he mentioned an ultimatum by the wife. I am sure that's been worked out by now, or not, but at least he kept the custody of his child (the 737). In the case of a woman, there is never a doubt that her children are hers, but since paternity is an act of faith, this can be shared with the rest of the team Please Tom , don't bother to comment, don't want to take you away even a minute from the amazing work you and the rest of the team are doing, my intention was simply to make you smile

Once the 737-Classic is release I will spend a lot of time learning/flying this baby, but do like all the planes I have, and will take them for spins now and then. The 727 is one of my favourites and I intend to keep using it same way i still use the first x-plane 10 jet I bought, the CRJ 200 (actually bought for xp9)

Mexico City Xtreme by Taxi2gate MMMX
scubajuan_new replied to scubajuan_new's topic in Scenery Development
As far as this version of MMMX fromTaxi2Gate is concerned, I'm not working on it anymore. The T2G developers have not provide me with many of the assets I requested, communication got broken and I got tired of chasing them. Working with conversions proved to be more labor intensive than making it from scratch to have optimal results. I'm not giving up on the airport but will make my own version. Sharing at 50-50 with original developers when they failed to comply to the original agreement is just not viable for me. I have a LOT of the airport already made with original models and textures but not enough to complete the full scenery. I Traveled to Mexico last summer and took a lot of photos of all the airport and city but have not restarted work on the project since my daytime work and family take most of my free time, plus I have other collaborative projects with other teams that are 100% focused on X-Plane. I continue work on many X-Plane related projects and MMMX will some day be finished, but for the time being is on stand by. Thanks for the interest and I am sorry for the disappointment, but my priorities have changed and I rather work on projects on my own or with others that are as committed to a project as I am, and not with people that show little or no interests and act as if they are do in me a favor. -
Great news! i love the DC-9, I flew countless times in them, and back in the days of FS8 and FS9 (before I discovered X-Plane) I mostly only used a good old DC-9 for all my flying fun. Having yet another retro jet in the hangar is something i'm woking forward to and the DC-9 fits my flying preferences like a charm..

On behalf of the team, I want to apologise for the delay, unfortunately our lives are taking precedence over scenery development, for some is school, for others is family/work, involvement in other projects, etc., and we haven't been able to move past the alpha version. There are still a few exterior buildings to model and a few details to address on the airport itself. We are not going to release a half finished product to fulfil a promise of release date. That being said, we will make sure the final product is complete and satisfies our expectations of quality/performance. The project is not dead and we will finish it when we can. Thanks for the support and interest and rest asure that when we have something new to show, we'll do so, and once the work on the scenery continues and we can make a realistic prediction on release date we'll let you know.

There are tons and tons of tips and very useful information in X-Pilot forums in every area concerning X-Plane. Is a lot easier to find answers when you have specific questions, and patience and dedication to sift trough all the relevant topic, but if you can't find an answer in the existing threads, starting a new one with your question (in the appropriate section) usually gets an answer right away, the contributors here are some of the most knowledgeable and generous when it comes to sharing tips and information. This is a IXEG related section of the forum, as Cameron pointed out, but they also contribute in other threads.

It would be awesome if X-Plane would allow bathymetric data and have variable transparency in the water, throw in some wave action, flowing water, water falls and wind effect; jumping whales and spinner dolphins and voila, would make flying over water a whole new experience. Imagine a UHD mesh for the Great Barrier and the Caribbean, and of course Hawaii. That would be sweeeeeet

Hey! I can walk from Nihau to Kauai

Does not allow to dig tunnels, but it certainly allows to build bridges As a client V1.0 is great to see that you are still working on improving a great product. Thanks

Exciting news Tom, thanks for the update. Please don't bother to reply, keep up the good work. A release in 2015 would be freaking awesome. is in my Santa's list already.

Niihau is looking good, and is one step closer to Kauai I've downloaded all the islands so far and they are awesome. I really enjoy flying in the archipelago low and slow. Sorry for not posting many pics, is not my thing.
