  1. Awesome! Just two questions: "Several texture fixes" Can you elaborate on what exactly has been fixed/changed? Will repainters need to adjust their liveries? "Numerous "ninja fixes" for X-Plane 11 compatibility." Not sure if it's been mentioned before, but will this include at least a partial fix to the low drag problem in XPL11? Of course I don't expect it to be 100% accurate at this time, but currently it's difficult to keep speed even at -1500fpm and with speedbrakes up.
  2. Well, well... it may not be that apparent when the pics are not side by side, but try downloading them and flick through them a couple of times - the difference is pretty obvious, to me anyway. But hey, I tried the MaterialNG plugin for XPL10 which adds XPL11-like reflections to the plane and it somehow changes the perceived shape of the nacelle instantaneously, so I guess it just may be that the current baked-in reflections are a bit off while the model is actually correct. But that little "wing" and the spinner are still too small methinks. Anyway, it's just my observation guys, take it or leave it. There's no need for trying to be funny. ;-)
  3. Hi everyone! Please know that you're welcome to prove me wrong, but there is this one thing that's been bugging me since I first saw the preview screenshots of the 737. I thought it was just my eyes deceiving me or the camera angle or the missing reflections, but every time I see a real 737 CL it has me thinking about the accuracy of the shape of the IXEG's "hamster pouches". It's very hard to describe in words so I decided to make a little comparison by superimposing a picture of a real engine on a screenshot from the sim. Notice the in-sim spinner appears much smaller, the little "wing" on the in-board side is also smaller and angled differently, and overall the the IXEG's nacelle appears somewhat flatter and less bulky. It's not a massive difference, but the discrepancy should be obvious nonetheless. Anyone else noticed this or is it just me? BTW still massively enjoying the 737 nearing it's 1st birthday and can't wait for any future updates. ;-)
  4. As for #1, I actually consider it a feature. The ability to precisely control the pushback tug with the tiller is great, because the simple "nose right/left" option would almost never get me on the taxiway line.
  5. Cameron, I agree with you that some of the nitpicking here is ridiculous, but I was merely stating a fact. When you look at how small these 1x1 degree tiles actually are around 50° latitude (and it only gets worse when you go north), there is no way of this happening very infrequently unless you fly in a circle. Again, I understand it's a technical limitation, I just disagree with Sundog's statement.
  6. Well, depends on your definition of 'very infrequently'. On a short 110 NM hop between two airports which takes like 30 minutes you need to fly over 3 such tiles so in fact you can see this happen every 10-15 minutes. But I understand that there is little you can do about it.
  7. IXEG 737 works great in XPL11, can't wait for the texture update still.
  8. XPL11's lighting looks so real I still can't get my head around it!
  9. I love the improved lighting on clouds - they never looked better.

There are already two other liveries of Czech Airlines by other authors, but sadly neither is very accurate and with lots of details missing so I decided to make my own version. The livery is based on reg. OK-CGH, as could be seen in the year 2010. The real aircraft is a 737-55S (cn 28469), made in 1997. Unfortunately, CSA have never had any 300's so this is as close as one can get for the time being. Download, rate and enjoy!

  12. That's just how FXAA works (blurs everything slightly to make it look smooth), nothing you can do about it. Personaly I use 4x SSAA + FXAA because otherwise distant objects like buildings look almost too sharp and a bit out of place.
  13. Thanks, stay tuned for future updates. Will do the whole fleet eventually.
  14. Not sure, but I use the bigger rotary knob on the X52's throttle as a tiller and it works really well :).
