As far as I recall after the G/A procedure is complete the Immediate Return checklist is activated. At the end of which it advances to Before Landing and you complete an approach as normal. Just keep smashing the “next item” checklist bind and off you go. It should be seamless. But apparently I couldn’t remember there was user setting for disabling the procedure, which is what you wanted, so I may well be wrong here too!

I believe it’s not possible to use the virtual F/O for the flight but not the go-around. As long as it’s enabled as soon as you press the TO/GA button the virtual F/O’s G/A procedure (it’s not a checklist) is armed, and as far as I know it can’t be skipped at that point. So selecting a different checklist is irrelevant. The developer knows this system is problematic and plans a full overhaul of the virtual F/O in a future, as yet undetermined, update.

Sorry I don’t have it installed at the moment. Maybe it’s part of the configuration. But I’ve definitely seen it before.

They do. It’s part of the same trainer package from Garmin. Selectable from their plugin menu if I remember correctly.

Is this a case when one would use the 625/725 versions, that RXP also support?

The easiest way is to do the pre-flight with your normal starting fuel once and the save that state (for each airframe). Then you can restore that state any time in the future, and set your payload (pax) through the X-Plane weight & balance window.

You’re going to need to be more specific.

If everything else (engine generators, ADG, etc.) fails that’s your only source of DC power.

Hi Rich, I think we will need that video because the contents of the popup and virtual cockpit display come from the same source. OBS Studio can capture X-Plane and record it to a video file fairly easily. Thanks.

If you don’t have a GPS navigator there’s nothing to load a flight plan into?

When you select an airport location from the flight configuration window, click Customize button, and make sure to select a ramp starting location.

Are you sure you’re not selecting a start location of “10nm approach” or whatever it’s called?

That’s under MFD DATA; you looked through all the pages? Looks like the position report one.

In reality I think that would mean the galley lights, stairs, etc., but in the sim right now they’re either not simulated or on the wrong bus. So turning off the battery will kill power to everything under this item, I believe.

Or permanently “on”.

Have you completed the perf pages in the FMS including the OAT, and made sure you have N1% for TO in the thrust limits page? Are you pressing the TO/GA button on the thrust levers?

Do you already have the Airbus throttle set from Honeycomb?
