  1. I see Ground Traffic (which is probably outdated for this version of X-Plane 11). Is it possible to disable the ground traffic at all? If so, try disabling it. If not, can you try at a different airport, with the same parameters, and see if you can reproduce the problem?
  2. 1. The aim of making a highly complex aircraft to begin with, was to allow people to get fully immersed in the experience of flying a TBM 900 by the numbers and by following real world ops. Once you go through an engine start a few times, it'll take you about a minute to get going from cold and dark. 2. The fires that occur are not the fault of the TBM. Scenery isn't perfect, and if a scenery tile is corrupted (which happens a lot in X-Plane), the TBM will drop onto the apron or runway. Because of the realism of the landings, and the possibility of damaging the landing gear, there is no way to avoid damage when the aircraft gets dropped due to faulty scenery. 3. There is a fully functioning Maintenance Manager which does this for you, but it has a lot more detail. Like how much repairs are (taken from real world ops) and what needs to be repaired. I've come across a small handful of people who want a quick start option, but after they take the time to learn (over the course of about 10 minutes) how to start the engines, it very quickly becomes second nature. As Ben said, the vast majority of our customers have said that all they fly now is the TBM. And this is due to the detail we've managed to cram into it. Have some patience, go through the procedures (it's a GA...how hard can it be??) and you'll get the hang of it in no time.
  3. Press the red button on the Audio Panel (to the left or right of either PFD)
  4. Pathetic? P.O.S.?? Beginners nightmare??? Did you even read the first paragraph of the product page?? The X-Aviation Take Command! brand of products represents the very best of flight simulation immersion, and assures you this Hot Start product is one of the most sophisticated, study sim level aircraft available for X-Plane! Real world pilots test and assist in the development of these products, and real world procedures are followed. It tells you these products are unlike any other product you've seen outside of the ever growing X-Aviation catalog! We're always available to help people get going in any of our products, should they have any difficulties at all. No question is a stupid question. All you had to do was ask, and you would have had access to us, the developers, and also the wider TBM community, to help you get going. Many of our customers are more than willing to help. This being your first post in these forums is one hell of an introduction. Despite all this, we are more than willing to help, should you need it, however, may I suggest that you read the product description the next time you make a purchase. I ALWAYS encourage making informed decisions when it comes to purchases of anything.
  5. The TBM is unique in how it uses 3 monitors. I think some people got it working, but I would have dig through the forums. I see you're in the discord now anyway, so I'm sure you'll get a response from someone who has it going.
  6. Are you running some kind of multi monitor set up, with X-Plane configured to run on all available monitors?
  7. Hoping the CL650 will fill the Embraer gap for you. It's basically an airliner in a similar category as the Embraer, squeezed into a bizjet.
  8. From memory, this is accurate. Pressurizing the brakes after the park brake is applied, I THINK, is possible. But I'll have to check.
  9. It probably won't work, but you're more than welcome to try. This is the dataref for the manipulator. Assign it to your axis and give it a shot. tbm900/switches/gear/park_brake
  10. You assume correctly. Not much point now, anyway...considering there's another one about to be released. But you never know, maybe something in the future may happen.
  11. The crash is caused by something in X-Plane. This is one you'll need to submit to Laminar. Of particular concern is this...

  13. We'll take a look and discuss.
  14. Your last log file doesn't show a crash, so we can't see what's going on. Another thing, we ask people to not compare add ons. All add ons are created differently, and some have more code and systems than others. Some have more detail than others. For example, I've seen X-Plane crash for some people due to scenery. They said the same thing. It doesn't happen with any other aircraft. The difference is, the TBM has a terrain radar, which reads X-Planes terrain data. If that terrain data is corrupt, a crash is likely to happen due to the TBM's terrain radar trying to read something that is corrupted. Other add ons won't do it because they don't have a terrain radar. Just report the problems as you come across them. Include a log file, and we'll do our best to find the problem.
  15. It certainly looks like this new ILS bug is doing something in your top post. However, in saying that, navigation in the G1000 is handled completely by X-Plane. There is nothing custom going on in there. I would suggest you contact Laminar about this one and report it to them.
  16. From what I've seen, the people without brakes are not operating them correctly. You first have to apply the brakes via the pedals on the floor, to pressurize them. THEN apply the park brake. Just applying the park brake alone will not stop the aircraft from moving, as there is no pressure in the system. The foot pressure can easily be bound to a key stroke, if you do not have rudder pedals.
  17. AFAIK, X-Life is a custom AI plugin. And the answer to your question is no. The TBM uses a custom TCAS, and from what we know, the problem either lies with X-Plane itself, or X-Life. Just Flight reached out to us and asked us for a copy of the TBM to make sure it works with a new traffic add on they made. And they did make it work. So going from that, I would say the problem lies with X-Life.
  18. The AIRAC data that you need to use is X-Plane's default version. Whatever they have is whatever is current for them at the time. If it's outdated, your best course of action is to contact Laminar about it, and ask when they will get an updated version.
  19. It's definitely a very ambitious project, but hats off to you getting as far as you did.

  21. I can see an exception error in your log file, and this is caused by the AI. It's a known problem that we are trying to solve.
  22. Is the AP Trims switch turned on?
  23. You are probably loading on a bad scenery tile. Try a default airport to see if the problem persists.
  24. Delete all files in your Output/preferences folder, and restart the sim. You will have to recalibrate everything, but this should fix the problem.

    Fail in flight

Different add ons are made differently. We also cannot guarantee the TBM will run properly under a beta of X-Plane, because the problem could be anything. Including other plug ins that are not compatible. It might be best to wait until X-Plane comes out of beta, and then we can see if the problems persist.
