  1. Definitely! Cheers, Jan
  2. Have to chime in with saying sorry - I never caught this during my testing as I never use scrollwheel to work any manipulators, so it never registered on me for being "reversed". Progress is often two steps forward, one step back. We will get it ;-) Cheers, Jan
  3. Thanks for letting us know it worked for you, Boom! There are bound to be some quirks in the new Gizmo beta and this case and your willingness to stay with it and confirm the workaround is helping to find and fix them. Thanks, Jan
  4. Alright - yes, that is misleading. We do our own fuel system simulation and write our values to X-Plane - but it does not work the other way around. You can set the weight with the X-Plane menu, but not the fuel. It is best to set up both with the IXEG menu...and make sure that you either hit "Instant" speed...or wait long enough for the tanks to fill(empty) if using "Realistic" speed. Happy flying! Jan
  5. Oh, ok - that is interesting! I will talk to Tom about it, but that should be possible... Thanks for the feedback, Jan
  6. Hi Sergio, I don´t need them, but it is also not allowed to post them on here (copyright reasons). There are ways to find those on the internet, so anyone interested in getting them can probably easily do so. Thanks for the offer, though! Cheers, Jan
  7. Hehe, ok - so we have some experience to work with, here. Can you check the fuel flow while you cruise? Fuel levels? Make sure you have the right units selected, its a bit hard to see on the gauges if you are tanking Kilogramms or pounds. I think the fuel-flow gauges will still not change the units to lbs if you have that selected... You can display the "weights" and the fuel flow in the X-Plane "data out" tab (numerical display on screen), just to make sure. Thanks, Jan
  8. Yes, 8.33 is sorely missing and will be a focus of the near updating path! Jan
  9. Hello Seamaster, sometimes the internet connection can be the problem - especially when there is an unusual configuration of routers or access points. I am not a technician, but I once had to bypass a second router to make it work. Good luck, Jan
  10. I assume you are saying that the files can not be unpacked or written to the destination folder? Make sure there is enough space on the medium (harddisk) and that you have administrator and writing rights. Jan
  11. Hi, there could be several reasons. Landing gear still down, cruising at low altitude, wrong speed, not all tanks filled,... The plane will carry 16.000 kgs of fuel, that is enough for about 5+ hours of flight. Your fuelflow should be about 2200-2500 kgs/hour (both engines) with a speed of ca. 420kts. If you don´t get these values, you are doing something wrong :-) Cheers, Jan
  12. Hi Sdwr87, yes, that is correct. Apply an exception to your antivirus program (Windows defender, etc.) for the whole X-Plane folder. That should cure it. Make sure that you are not running multiple AV suites, too. Another reason could be running X-Plane off of an external harddisk. This is not recommended for bandwidth reasons. Cheers, Jan
  13. No, Litjan has full, flowing hair!
  14. Your gizmo plugin is not running. You either have not done the installation correctly or you have failed to activate your product.
  15. + Vr config file + Custom particle effects
  16. 1.3 is independent of Vulkan - you can still make your choice in 11.5X (OpenGL or Vulkan) and the IXEG will work fine. It will also work fine in 11.41. Cheers, Jan
  17. Thanks for that advice, will check it out!
  18. Track up? Navigational blasphemy! I will put it on the list. Not sure what the extent of coding necessary would be. Cheers, Jan
  19. Definitely on our list - we have changed a bunch of stuff in the cockpit, so a new vrconfig.txt would be good. I have to investigate and learn how to make one. Not sure if SimVRlabs would like to help us with that...
  20. No problem - the "show vortices" option was a remnant from X-Plane 10 times when it still worked. It was a "semi-legal" way of coding it, and X-Plane 11 doesn´t like it anymore. Thats why it will be gone with our next patch (version 1.3). X-Plane 11 is now supporting "particles", so this effect is done natively. Cheers, Jan
  21. Hi there, please try again with the option "Show vortices" NOT selected in the left-screen-popout-menu (Preferences) - and let me know if this fixes the problem for you? Cheers, Jan
  22. Hi Torbinator, the volume for the radios is on our to-do list - but not for 1.3, unfortunately :-( Cheers, Jan
  23. I have just tried on my installation but have been unable to reproduce your problem. Are you running any other "third party" camera plugin, like X-Camera or such? Alt-tabbing in and out did not change any of my views at all. But just maybe this is a side-effect of some code-change that Tom did (for the replay mode). Lets see if this still happens for you after 1.3 Cheers, Jan
  24. No, not yet. It requires a total rewrite of the rendering engine, even Vulkan isn´t capable of fixing this - maybe DirectX21 will... just kidding ;-) We still have a few bugs around from back then that we haven´t fixed yet. I understand that this is very important to you, though! Cheers, Jan
