  1. ..even the smallest hint of a release date results in users being unhappy and complaining if they feel their expectations are not being met. See here, for a recent example; http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=92465&hl= This is why we don't publish them.
  2. Well spotted and worth a try. Thanks for posting!
  3. I have spoken to Ben Supnik about this. We both see installing into "Program Files" as a potential problem but I believe Steam has everyone install there so I'm continuing to investigate. Thank you for your patience. The two reports in this thread are the only instances of this problem I've seen so far.
  4. John. With all due respect; please go and be patient with your issues somewhere else. Your rude impatient behaviour spilling out into unrelated threads is pathetic.
  5. I suggest you contact Aerosoft support for help regarding Aerosoft products.
  6. http://www.aerosoft.com
  7. Jack. You were given advice in your other thread about poor FPS. You were instructed to install a blank demo copy of X-Plane. This will give you a reference point. Is it your system or is it all the stuff you've installed inside X-Plane. It's probably just all the stuff you've added to X-Plane. Re-installing your system is a pointless exercise until you reset to a blank default demo copy of X-Plane and re-test. Here was your last thread; http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/8591-huge-fps-problem/?p=90836 Please post more information regarding how a default copy of X-Plane performs.
  8. There are plenty of other products available to purchase today if you are unwilling or unable to wait for a product that has been completed to a standard that we feel is acceptable to sell.
  9. I'm going to discuss this further with Cameron. Instructions on how to manually tweak files to attempt to resolve this is beyond the scope of this thread and best kept in customer specific discussions. Please file a support ticket with the X-Aviation website and reference this thread.
  10. Is it possible to move/copy your X-Plane folder to somewhere like your Desktop to stop the OS "protecting it" from changes. (If you're using Steam it won't like you moving the folder around..)
  11. What folder do you have X-Plane installed in? Perhaps Windows 10 is preventing us from writing to a license file. Check to see that you can write to; X-Plane/X-Aviation/License Database.lua That's the file that Gizmo is attempting to write activation data into. Does that file exist? Does it have anything in it? Thanks..
  12. Spoiler: - Set weather to CAVOK - Set vis to 10nm - Use a default airport. Saved you a click and a waste of time.
  13. I use Camtasia on a Mac.
  14. Main screenshot from the official Aerowinx page: ....just look at that 3D detail... phwoar!
  15. There's a version mis-match between your Log.txt and GizmoLog.txt data. Please re-install the Saab and avoid Gizmo developer releases in future.
  16. For perspective; Aerowinx PSX; $349 USD. http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd,,13174 Plenty of people seem to think that's a fair price. ( Don't try and read between the lines from this post... It's purely to point out what already exists in the market. )
  17. 32 bit is dead. Upgrade.
  18. As a beta tester... I don't even know if this thing has a passenger deck in it. Haven't wanted to look. Too many other things to enjoy.
  19. Or you could take the more realistic approach that this project is in fact finished. Released? No. Finished? Very likely.
  20. You're welcome.
