  1. Sounds like a plan ... @MartyJazz
  2. I would steer clear of X-Plane betas when flying these study level aircraft sims. Wait for an RC of X-Plane. It's hard to attribute weird behavior of the aircraft ...
  3. Looks promising ...
  4. The HUD comes standard with X-Plane. I guess it would be nice to have a HUD, as would the standard outside views of X-Plane.
  5. When you need to install the 'old' version, follow up with the hot fix 1.07 when X-Plane is fired up (with the IXEG 733). Choose "Hot Fix" on the side menu on the right. Use the code that is published here:
  6. Tom mentioned that "he opened a can of worms" trying to fix flaws ... and now speaks of an emergency hot fix ... hybridized ... that too!
  7. Word of the day: "hybridized" ... well played Tom!
  8. After the Gizmo crash with 1.06, I entered the code for the 1.05 hotfix and the download went fine. After rebooting and restarting the kick left menu still showed 1.06. This time no crash ...
  9. Needless to say ... thanks for the hard work !
  10. Only crashes ... it's a first with this 733. Can I get back to 1.0.5? Does the old hot fix still exist? CRASH 1.0.6 OS X El Capitan.zip KSTL24 - DRUSE2 - BNA - KOLTT1 - KATL08R : FL310 - QNH 2992 - CI 20 It happened when I took off from St Louis. A/P was not on. Still in TO/GA.
  11. I'm used to get the ATC-ruling "Speed is Yours" when there's no speed restriction ...
  12. I've been a test pilot for some other aircraft and they're just fine. And true ... the IXEG 733 is in a league of it's own. You guys took your time and it was worth it. Still have some wishes though ... Keep it up guys and remember ... it's lonely at the top.
  13. I had several joysticks and yokes and I'm back at the mouse ... And yes, I fly the IXEG 737, EADT x737, FF 757 767 777, SSG 748 and JAR A320 A330 with the mouse. In case of the 733, I just have to remember the location of the + sign. Works fine, not ideal though ... And I mentioned before that I would like to get the 'old school' W-view and CMD-W view back. A humble request !
  14. I'm on the 1606 cycle and it's fine by me !
  15. To see if you like the way Navigraph works, you could take it for a spin and download only one month worth of navigational data.
  16. VNAV issues are well known and have the attention of the devs. There are numerous troubling reports on VNAV in this forum. They will be addressed ...
  17. Maybe not a big deal. True, the ILS will bring you down. But it's just not appropriate ... 12 degrees difference with the true or magnetic bearing ... Then again, maybe it's something with the navdata itself.
  18. You're joking? OK. Please tell us how to operate in real life. What is a good landing on the 733? What is acceptable?
  19. Same goes for 757 and 767 (type sharing).
  20. I have similar experiences with descent. Most of the times, I quit VNAV altogether and head down using vertical speed or FLCH. Switching between VNAV and V/S mode is hard to accomplish. The devs have already admitted that VNAV is flawed. They're working on it ...
  21. Just checked again. Even on the ILS of KMCO17L, on final (bearing 185-186), the fixes still read way off with their 172. And for KATL27R after programming the FMS, I get 263 where they should read 275. Stock navdata 1509 ...
  22. @cmbaviator: those numbers are really headings c.q. bearings. Not speeds.
  23. I did the same flight yesterday with the FF 763. No issues with Simheaven, meaning no frame drop at the hot spot.
