  3. This is what I will be flying the IXEG 733 in when it is released. Had a blast today and tonight on PilotEdge with my kids in my little 737-200 Sim. The approach into Vegas looked pretty darn real if you ask me. I made a comment jokingly on final that the controller dumped me into the approach to high hence the sink rate sink rate on approach LOL Thanks for another great day of flying on PilotEdge with my kids. My daughter was my co-pilot and my son recording. Enjoy the video, lots of cool action and radio chatter. Rob https://youtu.be/dJwXRpJ_9lU

  4. In theory the combination of this and SkyMaxx Pro 3 should significantly help with this, yes. That said, we have made some optimizations to version 3.1 of SkyMaxx Pro which should also yield some better performance as a whole. We haven't really announced much of SkyMaxx Pro v3.1, but we will in due course. It's got some nice enhancements!

  5. I understand that's what it sounds like. But, we're not bringing XP's default real-world weather functionality to SkyMaxx; we're inventing our own. We're parsing and interpolating raw METAR information, and using it to position cloud formations and storm clouds in ways X-Plane's built-in weather cannot. For example, we can have hundreds of distinct cloud layers in view at once, all at different altitudes - and we offer cloud types like cumulonimbus and towering cumulus that the default engine doesn't have. We didn't replicate what X-Plane's default clouds can do, we went beyond that. I think once folks start to get their hands on it and spread the word, folks will understand why it's a product in its own right. For now, stay tuned while we get through beta testing.

  6. Staggering! If I was in my 20's again, I would probably take on a project like this. Or would save up and buy something! Very impressive setup and kudos to you and your kids for joining n.

  7. Anytime! I enjoy sharing the sim. Yes, I have done this on my own but had some invaluable input from some guys way smarter than me. I have been working on it for about 16 months probably 20hrs a week Allot of research time though and searching for info on the real parts.

  11. Winglex IMHO should never be a priority. There are other features that could be added that would be better than wing fkex.
