  4. A small item in XP12 as the files in the attached zip show. The strips just inside the windshield posts that I believe are associated with the windshield de-ice are fragmented with irregular fragments flickering in and out. The phenomenon seems to vary depending on the light level. This did not appear to occur in a flight I made with the Marquise in XP11. In XP11, I believe that the strips stayed fully visible for the entire flight as expected. Not what I would call a high priority item, but something I noticed in each XP12 flight of the MU-2 that I have made. 994799144_MU-2windshieldirregularities.7z

  6. Ok, I admit, I do not get it? The internet does not give me a short attention span. I am all ways searching for something. The internet has everything I want, Knowledge. Knowledge is power. But power, I do not have. My wife has all the power(Pus#$%). Ok, lets get back to flying airplanes.

  7. Do you have an assignment or keyboard shortcut to the "Toggle both levers to/from emer stop" function of the levers conditions? I had such an assignment that prevented starting the engines, even if I didn't use this function. I removed this assignment and I was able to start the engines.

  8. XP12 version is almost ready, and soon will be available. Soon as in a few weeks.

  9. Correct....no fuel in main, no engine start. You can transfer fuel into the main tank by setting both fuel transfer switches to OFF...and then turning the 'outer pump' switch to MAN...you should observe fuel increase in main, and decrease in outers. After engine start...when you put the fuel transfer switches back to AUTO, then the tips will begin filling up the main tank. OR...you can simply use X-Plane's fuel settings dialog to put fuel in the center tank OR...using the MU2 pref dialog, click "fill main tank" -tkyler

  10. I might be wrong but(it hard to see on video): - You do not really need to press red buttons (primer?) - Throttles should be at Ground Idle or at list lower than Flight idle. - It looks like switches are on Crank, while should be in Run. - Your Main tank is empty. Engines are feeding from Main tank in MU. It seems last point is the most possible reason. XP12 managing fuel wrong way for Mu. If you concerned - try one of mine amended ACF (and fuel loader) here in the forum.

  11. having begun the IXEG 733 development at the later stages of Version 9 of X-Plane....and witnessing the transition to 10, 11, and now 12. It really is not worth the effort to support past versions ..sadly there just isn't enough users to justify the effort. As my Dad used to tell me, "keep up or get left behind". I did not like hearing that many times... indeed I did fall behind at times...but that didn't make the maxim any less true when dealing with large populations. Sorry about that...but XP12 is just too cool to look back -tkyler

  12. #1 - I agree.. I love Alaska and have most of the free (and paid) scenery/airport improvements that I could find. #2 - I'm embarrassed to tell you how many planes I have. I normally stick to your plan of putting some hours in on the same plane, but then I read an article (or Skunkcrafts says an update is ready)... and I'm off to the races. Do you think the internet is giving me a short attention span?

  13. definitely. we're not touching that. On another note, we are back full steam on the IXEG after that short MU2 detour for Sporty's Pilot Shop. Working the lighting pass now, probably one of the bigger jobs. We have over 700 inidividual surfaces / lights that we have to audit 1 by 1 for the proper brightness values in XP12. After that, I'll hit the wing-flex and then the final punchlist items list. Jan is performing more test flights for any obvious bugs also. After the V12 compatibility / port release and bug chasing dies down, we'll start the "improvement" phase. -tkyler

  14. I have a confession. I was approached about 10 days ago to participate in a short-notice endeavor (X-Plane related) that was tough to refuse and had me put the IXEG work on hold for this time frame....so this short delay in our original time estimate is squarely on my shoulders.....but I feel was the wiser decision for my continued work in X-Plane. I'm back on to the IXEG tomorrow. This side endeavor will become known sometime today I suspect. The good news (hint) is that completion of this endeavor will allow me to continue on the IXEG development right after the V12 port version comes out, and not have to detour back onto any other work....and there is a bit of an 'Easter Egg' in this endeavor that reveals the two projects we plan on working on in 2024. So we'll roll out the V12 port and I'll jump right back onto the FMS and other improvements planned for the remainder of the year. So this endeavor delays the V12 port, but moves forward the follow-on work. Those improvments (FMS, new nav data, beginnings of new 3D exterior) will take the better part of 2023 I'm sure, but we'll start that immedately after the V12 port release. As far as time frame for the V12 port now.... I can't say exactly. we always feel "close" because all the big stuff is out of the way. My todo list largely consists of finishing the interior texturing (rear galley), putting in the wing flex and squashing Jan's list of 'mostly small' issues, that's the list. I am dealing with 3 graduations of my kids this weekend (and family get-togethers).... and they will get my time to celebrate their achievements. I'd like to be done within 3 weeks, that's all I'll say. Will we be done in 3 weeks? I don't know. If not, I'll certainly be closer than I am today and still moving! -tkyler
