I think, that by saying 'Goran doesn't want to just come out with that specific detail' Cameron means that Goran doesn't mention that it is going to take a few weeks. He doesn't say that something is missing in technological process. Am I right? As we don't know the process and required work, we (or some of us at least) assumed that's gonna be just a few days.

Well, you talked about a specific detail you were missing from Goran, so yes we know nothing about your inner working but since you explain nothing you cannot blame us for not understanding....

I suspect it's an issue with 11.20vr1 and the long standing GL bug that affects xEnviro, Intel GPU's, XSB and so on. I recently wrote some tooling to find and fix this bug. The fix is in the code base and will appear in the next IXEG update. I cannot say when that will be but if the bug persists we'll probably have to issue some kind of quick patch regardless of the status of the rest of the IXEG update. Laminar are not going to revert to older slower GL code to maintain compatability with our bugs. (IF that's what it turns out the root cause is. I'm speculating in the open right now.)

Damn it. A few weeks because of "specific details"?$ I'm desperately missing my Saab and situations like this do more harm than good to each of your brands. The X-plane community is gathering new potential customers everyday, and you don't get a second chance to make a first impression. Please try to expedite things for your common good (and mine). Well, you didn't doubt, you jumped directly to a bunch of undocumented conclusions based on something we do not even use! Your PlaneMaker understanding also appears low. Your conclusion was it is "flyable" but needed your "corrections". Sorry to jump on you like that but we take our engine and flight model very - VERY - seriously and we have now spent 8 years (!) refining it, still are, and are very proud of it. (Also I said "possibly", unlike you I did not conclude it was the best...) The hardest part of making an accurate engine thrust model is getting the detailed information you need on the specific engine in question - and understand what you read! It took me 15 years to finally get this. (Austin after 25 years in the business still has not got this good information...) . Detailed engine data is highly proprietary information that you will not find laying around on the internet or in books. You need engineering manuals, engine maintenance data, FDR data, empiric data etc If you want a really accurate thrust model you need detailed information on all altitudes, temperatures, mach, N1 etc. And we do... So feel free to question the flight/engine model, but we expect any claims/conclusions to be well documented and not just an "opinion". Off course in new XP versions things get broken, so if something "changes" from what it used to be we would off course like to know about it.

I'm not sure what any of what you just said means, especially the part about "'specific details'?$". I can only assume that you know nothing of the inner workings or reasonings, so any assumptions you have are assuredly way off. Goran is giving you guys optimism and false hope without lying that it will be a few weeks. We may as well kill that now and make expectations reasonable rather than a stampede a week from now asking why it isn't out when Goran made it seem like it would/could be. Nothing will change that outcome. The whole "first impressions" talk is nonsense when it comes to this update.
