  1. Laminar has just released a list of data over aircraft use in XP10 and 11. The 737 tops the list for XP11 and is high up in v10 despite it has only been out for 3/4 of a year (XP10 was released in 2012 I think). We are very happy with these numbers since they show that people actually use the 737 a lot and don't just put it in their hangar to dust down http://developer.x-plane.com

  2. We are happy to announce that the product of our cooperation with LatinVFR has entered the final beta stage! A bit about the features: High quality rendition of the airport. Accurate custom night lighting. Animated jetways for all gates (the free Autogate plugin is required). Crisp ground textures, markings, etc. FPS friendly. The airport requires X-Plane 10.50+ Works fine in X-Plane 11 (the images below is from XP11). Will be a totally free update to include all new X-Plane 11 features (ground traffic, reflections, etc.), as soon the appropriate tools will be available. Note: The updated version will work only in X-Plane 11. Full free support/updates until the end of X-Plane 11 run. Stay tuned for release info! Enjoy!

  3. no surprise to me, a few surprises on the charts though... didn't know JAR had a CRJ :-)

  4. As I said in a previous thread, the fact that it has been this long for v1.1 is a testament to the original release. There are things we are all waiting to have tweaked, modified, or added to the package, but as it stands, there are no real deal breakers at v1.07. I fly it very frequently, and have few if any problems. It will only get better as it goes along. Tim

  5. Nobody can answer this, not even the developers as they stated already. It will be ready when is ready. For those attempts made by the devs to shed some ETA, they were killed by unhappy users when targets were not met. Simulating a multimillion boeing aircraft systems to perfection for 80 bucks is a complex task thrust me.

  6. Ok, took a few shots for you guys - so you know that we are not making this stuff up : Distance to go and ETA for next active waypoint displayed on top line of EHSI: Improved symbology when IRS units not aligned: INOP labeling on the TERRAIN button of First Officer (yes, we are working on having it display on his side, too). Also new EGPWS control panel: INOP label on logo light switch if winglets are fitted: lbs labeling on the fuel gauges if imperial units are chosen: Opening cockpit door (note that the cabin is still WIP and will improve in the future (better 3D/textures/lighting): TERRAIN ON DISPLAY button, and TCAS symbology (showing a proximity traffic): Cheers, Jan

  7. Sorry but based on a few years experience with JAR products, the companys goals are just to throw another half finished product on the market to gain revenue - the permanent new small beta packages they provide are generating new problems and then need a new beta to fix these again. In my honest opinion, they should stop - take their time to make a complete fleet overhaul system and modelwise and release a good .1 version with all the problems fixed. But instead they're going to give as probably a new A340 which isnt long haul capable as the A330 is due to MCDU failures - and maybe a flyable short range A319...? I'm definetly no customer without seeing any new reviews about their products because I'm tired of their philosophy... dont get me wrong, just my opinion.

  8. A bit off topic but this @Raphaelvix guy seems to be an interesting case. He has never posted any content in the forums but yet I see him voting down so many posts regarding X-Plane development content like here in the IXEG subforum. If you really have a problem with a product or with a person, why don´t you post your issue in the forums or talk to the persons like a normal adult person? Discouraging people who try to improve our world of X-Plane seems the wrong answer to me...
