  1. These are shots from yesterdays flight. The 1st time I did a flight from a cold and dark cockpit from point A to B, using the FMC, Radar contact, real weather and World Traffic all together. I normally fly GA, so the FMC has been a bit of a stumbling block for me, but I think i'm getting the hang of it now. Everything worked great, except the Ai traffic not talking to the tower. This is why (in the last shot) the dash 8 was taking off before I had a chance to clear the runway at KLGA. I had a blast! (some of these may be a bit out of order) Rob

  2. Noticed that N1 derated thrust can't be dropped below 84,9 value, not in auto N1 mode, nor in manual n1 bug mode. Noticed it in winter flight, then d-to values really low. We believe FCOM: It means, that -20 OAT we can reduced TO thrust to 25 % - 84,8 - 25 % = 63,6 N1 And it means, that -40 OAT shouldn't be more than 81,4 - 82,1 in UNEE (880 AGL), but we can see this: And -50 OAT not more than 79,6 In high ambient temp and N1 higher 84,8 all works fine. That should be correct. Thanks.

  3. Hi, The OC4BA_XP plugin from rksoftware will let you use your Opencockpit modules to fly the IXEG B737-300. Fly the magnificent IXEG B737 from "real" flightdeck modules and not your PC mouse. Visit http://www.flightsim4fun.com

  6. Wow five posts and -15 reputation. You really should take the hint. Now I am off to fly the IXEG, from the pilots seat, where I cannot see nor even care if the wings are flexing because its much more fun flying the thing.

  7. Seriously stringden, just fly the airplane. I suggest you watch this video: There is a lot to master in any complex aircraft like this one. Stop worrying about being a passenger and actually fly the damn thing!

  8. It is not on the top of the to-do list at the moment. As we see it there are more important thing to do first. Doing it right is also quite tricky, most of the attempts you see around are a simplification of physics and 3D bending moments. Also, what you believe is a "must" is not necessary a "must" to others.

  9. I have added some features to allow other plugins to talk to x-httpd to and have their content served. Using standard X-Plane C SDK functions any other plugin can extend itself using the XPLMSendMessageToPlugin function. Third party plugins have complete control over the data read from and sent to the client. You get the complete http packet to play with. If x-httpd is not installed the third party plugin will continue to operate as normal. x-httpd is an entirely optional enhancement. I've also added some features to Gizmo so we can interact with x-httpd.. We are no longer restricted to simple dataref get/set operations. Anything is possible. Plenty of work remains to make the httpd server code more robust. I'm more interested in integrating it with X-Plane in useful ways at this point. "Correctness" with regards to socket operations and so forth can come a little later.
