  1. it may seem sarcastic, but it is a serious question. What is going on here? The front page of this site has not changed in months, despite the fact that there are a lot of improvements, add-ons, and enhancements. Not to mention a new version (V.11) due out very soon. And yet the front page of this site is stagnant and would lead one to believe nothing has happened or that the site itself is dead except for user forum posts. I like this site better than the other one. And this is my first real post here except for many, many photos, but I have to be honest, its stagnant and would lead one to believe that it has been abandoned. I hope that is not the case. please discuss and feel free to let me know if I am mistaken but except for user submitted content I have not seen anything new from the devs and mods.

  4. The files you have seen listed on the gizmo logfile doesn't exist on my install, but mine works just fine. I do suspect your problem is you are running Groundhandling plugin still, `please note disabling it within xplane takes the resources anyway. Doesn't work the same than removing it. For the purpose of testing please move the GndHandling folder out of xplane plugins folder, then restart xplane to test if the problem is fixed. You can move the folder back later. 5. Same turn away problem using this flight plan from KLAS to KASE FL310 LAS4 TRALR BCE HVE PITMN DBL It starts to turn away from the path just after PITMN... DBL is northeast of PITMN but the plane turns the opposite direction. I had another IXEG pilot confirm same situation. Thanks for investigating Jon

  6. The disconnect button on the mcp is not for disengagement of the autopilot in normal operation. It's for emergency in case there is a failure. You disengage the autopilot via the knob on the left handle on the yoke!!

  7. Cameron, you probably already know that but A LOT of us, appreciate the work, dedication and professionalism that the IXEG team has put into this project. We are 100% behind you guys and are very confident to see upcoming updates on this beautiful bird ! Again, thank you for giving us such great aircraft ! As an ex 737 pilot, I am enjoying every bit of it. Cheers

  8. To do it right? Difficult. If you've read anything about this project then you'll understand the entire cabin is slated for a makeover. Adding detail to an area that is destined for destruction and re-do is not productive. In due time. I for one am happy emphasis was put on the systems first. That would have totally broken the immersion for me. Living without detailed cabin lighting for exterior view pleasure is okay with me for the time being. Having said all this, I should add that aside from on ground, cabin lights are traditionally kept OFF at night during flight. Part of this is to not only assist sleep, but also to allow eyes to adjust during critical phases of flight in case of emergency.

  9. I don't know about the Saab but xfmc is at present incompatible with planes that feature GNS530; it's a known bug: http://www.x-fmc.com/issues/235
