  2. Hello everyone. Glad to report that a new CRJ-200 flight planning application can be downloaded here: http://forums.x-pilot.com/files/file/634-igodispatch-jrollon-crj-200/ Please note that this is a beta version. I am still trying to fine-tune the fuel calculations. If you notice a big difference (say, beyond the 10% margin of error) between what has been calculated and what was the actual number, please PM me your distance, weather, take-off weight, climb profile, cruise speed, burn fuel estimate, and burn fuel actual. It is Windows only for now but I do plan to make it work on other platforms. Please refer to the Manual included in the zip file for the proper installation procedures! Many thanks to the developers of this wonderful plane!

  3. Updated text as increase my experience as a program. Hello pilots! I confess I was already short of money, but I had to get this addon, wanted to test the novelty of having clouds moving and you go through them. Great job, it was a great idea, practical and beautiful. This will improve the experience of flying. I need to understand the textures, I hope I can change the textures, as well as anyone. The first impression was, this is amazing, look at these moving clouds and reflections. There is one thing better could be the resolution of the texture pattern of the cloud which is only 64 pixels. Therefore, the edges of clouds are unsatisfactory. I thought it had more cumulus clouds, but only with THIS ONE texture resolution. ANYWAY the look is good. On the issue of performance was very good, looks better than the standard, either with HDR OFF / ON in my system had good performance. I liked the Settings menu options. Below are some screenshots comparing the performance. I hope this helps someone. XP-10 Settings SkyMAXX Pro Settings , gives a good possibility to suit most types of machines . Cirrus HDR OFF Cirrus HDR ON 3/8 Cumulus HDR OFF 3/8 Cumulus HDR ON 6/8 HDR OFF 6/8 HDR ON Beautiful Overcast cumulus - greater loss of FPS 37 FPS Good Overcast Stratus - less loss of FPS 100 FPS Good conclusion: Comparing clouds staticas default, the motion feature and turn leaves more living environment with Skymaxx PRO. I am studying and testing the program, I recommend the program yes, and I expect updates and improvements. NOTE : I hope understood my English translated. Thank you Regards , Sabach .

  8. If you want to be super technical, don't use the term "real time" with the term "6 hour cycle" in the same sentence. There's nothing real-time about the NOAA forecast data.

  10. Yes... when you have ice.. turn antiice... AND exit ASAP from that situation. The antiice will give you some extra time only.

  11. NO real world aircraft is 100% ICE proof, Old mother nature will win in the end! Simulations are the same, and anti-ice equipment will only help up to a point. Unfortunately X-Plane 10's interpritation of "Real Wx" is still a work in progress, and it is getting better. But at the moment it's rate of ice buildup is a little on the wild side. So for the time being, do what it says and "Avoid staying in the clouds..for prolonged periods." try changing ALT or going around the heavy build up areas, and use the anti ice to buy you some time. cessna729.

  13. Edit: Got it! Just include the KLN90B.obj file into the jetstrem32.acf file with Plane Maker under Misc Objects. Furthermore, copy the Plugin Files (doc and xap) into the J32 plugin folder. Then you're good to go under X Plane 9.
