  1. Won't be done for a while. We're looking at near 100% systems simulation, and that takes time.

  4. Valentin You most certainly can not do whatever you want with it. It is not to be made available as freeware. It is not to be modified and then to expect support after modifications. It is not to be resold. It is not to be shared. There are many more. So no, when someone buys an add on, they certainly are not allowed to do whatever they want with it. They do not own the add on. They own a license to run the add-on on their own computer. That is all. If someone wants to truly own the Saab we made, to do whatever they want with it, it would cost a lot more than $54.95.

  7. I think you're missing the point. This is a multi year project. If it was designed for the hardware of three years ago you would all be bitterly dissappointed.

  8. Yes: check lists often specify a maximum airspeed above which wipers should not be used, and it's surprisingly low. Rain repellent products were specifically developed for aircraft to reduce the speed at which raindrops bead up and roll off the screen in the airflow. It works extremely well on cars at motorway speeds, so that one can turn off the wipers and see better.

  9. Double post in this forum. You only have to ask for assistance in the forum of the shop where you bought the plane. I posted a possible solution in the other forum.. please read there and remain in the forum that you bought the plane. Thanks!

  10. Just a stroll through the park...Parking was... interesting ...EFTP is the perfect AWACS place! Not exactly Sweden, but at least it's possible to see. Just did a short circle around the airport. Also the first time using the x52 with the SAAB, I must say it is easier than flying with the yoke.

  11. Arb, I've always thought you were a cool guy, but yes .. you were wrong with the faulty reasoning resulting in faulty conclusions. Also you weren't exactly forthcoming with information pertinent to a resolution. Instead you came across as being sarcastic .. and a wee bit hasty. Had I been the tech support guy, I would not want to support your ticket ... it's hard to get the job done when attitude becomes a major part of the equation. I gather there's a bit of a language issue here, as Cameron said " I have no further recommendations"; which you interpreted as him having no recommendations at all! If you'd understood the entire thread up to that point, you would've seen that it's made up of a bunch of pertinent information and recommendations.

  12. Hello dudes ! I don't know if this has been already posted, but I found ( and just starting to watch right now ) a show that looks to be very interesting ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zy9_pZrT1GA I know there are some serious bush flying enthusiasts around here, such Bamboo Cougar and such ;-) That really makes me want to use the Carenado Caravan, as well as the incoming Beaver for SMS ! Sadly, what we miss here is good african ( or any bushy land ) sceneries and appropriates missions. Hope that market will develop a bit in the times to come, making accurate airplanes is not the only thing that bring entertainment ... missions a la FSX could add a huge added value to X-Plane ! ( hint hint !! ) Good watch

  13. It's a great show. I learned to fly in Alaska back in the 70s, and it was really cool to see some places that I'd either been to, or flown over in my time overseas. Bush flying ain't for everyone, but once you get it in your blood, there's no getting it out. Great post! APUtech

  14. 1. You have posted incomplete information, which is why I repeatedly asked for the screenshot of the rendering settings dialog (which also happens to indicate VRAM usage). The log file provides a comprehensive look at the real state of X-Plane for diagnostic purposes. Contrary to what any typical user provides to help diagnose and solve a problem, you choose to "accept" help on your terms only. This is much like going to the hospital fearing you have a fracture, but refusing to allow x-rays to be taken and examinations to be made. 2. The issues described in the update description by Cameron are not consistent with single-digit fps. EDIT: Upon reading the above posts, I guess I'll quit here as well.

  15. Thanks for this video recommendation. Very interesting! I really like that the style of the documentation is not as hectic as in some other shows (e.g. in Flying Wild Alaska), so it's easier to follow even for a non-native speaker.

  17. Is there a framerate issue with the Saab? Yes. That was never in dispute. However, please, point me to another post(s) where "so many reports" indicate single-digit "slideshows" as you have here. It is one thing to have a large group reporting much lower than average framerates for a complex model and quite another for the situation you are talking about. The large group is being addressed with the upcoming update. I'm asking for the third time: please post screenshots (complete rendering settings dialog, X-Plane fps indication) and your log file. Also, please indicate how much VRAM your GPU card has. Then we'll have something substantive to discuss and possibly get you at least to the same point everyone else is at. Let's start with a clean slate, shall we?

  18. Yess you're definitely true sorry for the mistake about location, I admit I don't know very well those areas ;-) The one I look after is one of the oldest in service so yes it as standard needle instruments. It really depends on what I'll do in the next months, now I have a lot of spare time so I can work on it up to 9hours a day, but there is so much work to do and when it's your first plane, learning plane maker, Blender, Photoshop, animations etc ... it's a mountain of work, but so interesting ! Anyway, this TV show of Bush Pilot is really sweet to look at ;-) But I can't see the whole season

  19. The sky in X-Plane have never looked so real... I'm about to drop a tear my friend :o This will be a must have/best seller for sure, I give it my hand to be ripped off !

  20. There are a looooooot of right-handed captains flying Airbuses*! To use the other hand should not be so hard. *Captains in Airbuses have the stick on their left hand...for someone who don't know it.

  21. better off learning to use your gear right handed or you'll be learning bad habits for real world ops, and nothings harder than unlearning.

  28. Hello , Looks Great - Just purchased XPlane 10 as I have a new pc that can cope and would like to get back in to painting. Will there be a paintkit available or do you require someone to create some liveries? Attached pics of some of my work: http://www.peugeot206profileart.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/airbusa319.htm Cheers Allan

  29. The 744 is extremely complex. We literally have gigabytes of documents and videos on this aircraft and to transfer all of that into an add on will take quite a while as it will be study level.
