  1. So one thing that is important to us at IXEG is that we try and get the interaction with the cockpit as realistic as we can..and still feel natural in feel, look, sound and operation. The flap lever in the 737 is gated...so in reality, you have to pull it up out of its gate, move it to another position and let it slip back into the new gated position. It has a very distinct motion and sound but at the same time, its a relatively smooth operation so the challenge was to recreate the motion / sound / feel in sim......and it has to work with both the mouse and default flap buttons (1 and 2 keys). The video below shows using the mouse manipulator followed by the default flap keystrokes. (11.2mb) https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/955680/flapslever.mp4

  6. This product is aimed at the sky and the sky environment. So you're telling me that glaciers float? As they're part of the sky, GENIUS!! I seen glaciers in the sky...and then I woke up.

  8. No worries, I am a cadet currently flying a Level D Boeing 737-800 sim, the 737 is not a difficult aircraft to learn at all.

  10. What " YOU " need you meant I admit I never understood the fascination of people to fully computerized airliners ... but real piloting, I mean in real life are done in small plane or twin regional turboprops ... Have you ever wondered why real life airline pilot are soaring gliders and doing flight aerobatics over the week end ? To keep a good feeling about piloting, cause during the week they are only programming FMC ... Anyway, it's a matter of taste but you got the 777,CRJ200,A320,747, incoming IXEG 737, EADT 737 and much more I forgot, that are complex airliners, and we have only the BAe, Q400 and the Saab ... We are X-Plane, not FS, so maybe we should balance the aircrafts per category instead of filling teh airliner category and leaving others empty ... Especially as turboprops holds a very important place in real world aviation !

  11. As an owner of the 340A, I can speak of its quality. It has certainly raised the bar for X-Plane and requires no excuses when compared to some of the PMDG aircraft I have seen. And just think, it's only V1.0...

  14. Just a little side note to the liveries. When you select a different livery within X-Plane, any livery that is prefaced with "LDJ" is a livery painted by Leen De Jager. He was generous enough to donate his time to create some fantastic looking repaints and he deserves some recognition for his work.
