  2. Eport aviation graphics has just released a beautiful paint for my 767, yes, i know, not really related, but it is my jet and they are doing some amazing work over there. There's still possibility that he will be designing several liveries for the 787

  3. Hi everybody, I tried the different demo of the scenes and first of all, what a amazing job!!!! Juste a little thing: I find the base color a little too light: like if there was no rain since 6 months or more is there a reason for that? a limitation? a choice? I attach an example for tennessee. Again it's not an attack for your wonderful work, just a question.

  4. What are you using to measure the fuel used? try MCDU MENU, <PLANE MENU. That will indicate BOARD FUEL (LBS) to the nearest 1LB, (the total displayed on the MFD's only shows to nearest 10LB). How long are you taxing for? whats the fuel burn when in the air? Is this problem repeatable? have you tried loading the aircraft "engines running" and "cold and dark"? ensure that X-Planes MTBF option is unchecked. Try loading a default aircraft e.g. C-172, wait for it to load, exit X-Plane. Restart X-Plane, wait for C-172 to finish loading, then load the CRJ-200, do you still have the problem. If you still have problems, try using X-Plane's SAVE replay option, zip the .rep file and attach to your next post, along with your Log.txt file. You could also use X-Planes, Settings, Data Input & Output, then Data Set to tick "disk file" and "graphical" next to each of the following datarefs: times, N1, N2, FF and fuel weights, etc. to log/display the rate of fuel being used. Does the fuel flow tie up with the reduction in the fuel left in the tanks? or have you got a leak? At 40% N1, taxying, my CRJ is burning approx 1510-25 lbs/hr each engine, that's approx 1lb/sec (total) decrease in Board Fuel (MCDU Plane Menu). cessna729.

  7. I think they have learnt from the A380 and it's definitely not that Airbus has been sleeping during all the 787 problems. They sure have taken those problem risks in mind. Otherwise Airbus would be handling really stupid.

  8. I'm not 100% sure here, but there are many variants of the Saab rolling around, and we've had to stick to "one". So many different panel configs, etc. It may be so that Saab standardized the Cargo variants, but I don't have any clarification on this. Please be aware this is modeled after the A. Our primary concern is the passenger variant, and if the cargo variant has mods in it where smoke detectors are removed then we're not really concerned about that. The cargo version is thrown in as a bonus, and these are small factors that will have to be lived with. Minus the cabin differences visually, if it's in the 340A passenger systems, it's in the cargo version. Non-issue, really.

  13. The great Falco 1.2 update Tom and Team, finally everything works so well, and looks even more gorgeous. Speaking of gorgeous, I HAVE to ask, who's the hunk in the X-Aviation top, with the barrell-chest? ToughTom? CammoCam? Enough to make me go the other way (well, maybe not quite, but he's very handsome :-) He's very well lit at night too, love the designer stubble. But seriously, a great update and this plane makes everything feel so real. Handling's much better too. Some pin-ups:
