  1. To go along with the them of landing with a challenge... I took out an old Huey that I found in my helicopter folder, and it took me an hour and a half AFTER I arrived at the platform to land it. I honestly have no clue how the hell you're supposed to fly a helicopter in X-Plane. I even have a second joystick set up as a collective and I can't do it. Physical trim wheels, can't do it. It's just impossible. I took off in daylight from Christchurch, and by the time I was on the deck I was on fumes and it was dark. Not a happy pilot.

  2. I think "Artificial Intelligence" is missing the intelligent component. That is a service road, sir. No, I don't care how much of a hurry you are in. You will take the same taxiway as everyone else.

  7. Every single Jetstream I've flown so far has none to very minor roll to the right at maximum torque. I've been told this is part X-Plane bug and part "feature" to make it more challenging. Difference of opinion, I don't find having to put in full left aileron trim for takeoff challenging. The autopilot was overwhelmed by it on a test flight a while ago as well, sending me belly up into a nosedive once it couldn't control the roll anymore... Yes the right engine is critical, but you won't notice any significant roll or yaw unless you start getting into single engine situations as Cooley mentioned.

  8. Flying over Redding, California, population 90,000. Redding is surrounded by mountains on the north, east, and west, with agricultural farm lands to the south. In this image, the Sacramento River is on the right. Enterprise High School is below and to the right of the airplane. The Redding municipal airport (KRDD) is in the background to the upper left. The major highway seen on the right side of the image is Interstate 5, the major north-south highway on the U.S. west coast, which stretches from Canada to Mexico.

  9. My post was not necessarily directed at you. Eversince this Dreamteam stuff has come here there has been drama internally and externally of the group. That said, the above posted e-mail should settle the doubts you personally had, as well as Peter's.

  13. A quick hop from Poland to Germany in the JS32. Here you can see the icing starting to form on the engine inlets. This never ceases to amaze me in X-Plane. I'll forgive you if you thought it was just the remaining paint flaking off, but it really is ice! Into the setting sun:
