  1. Hi there! A last update before release! Currently, I'm trying to finish the Operating Manual. It's harder than it seems. There are a lot of things that must be explained to work this aircraft's systems. So I think that the most probable date for release will be in about a week. Also I'm trying to make everything as it should and look so too. I find out that one of the most important things that missing from X-Plane is the simulation of a 3-way switch! Of course there is SASL to solve that! And my present to all of you for the new year... a few screenshot of the final touches (cockpit night lighting). 1. The cockpit light - on. 2. Flood lights - off 3. Flood lights - DIM 4. Flood lights - BRT I hope you like it! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!

  2. I guess this is sort of an introduction. Long time FSX flyer, bought XPX on release as I saw what it was capable of and been keeping an eye on addon development since. Really starting to like the platform now and slowly flying more on XPX than FSX Anyways, here's Chris K's amazing Toronto City scenery with the downtown buildings, simply amazing, thank you Chris for your efforts!

  3. Over on the PPRUNE forum the speculation is running along these lines: First, it was a crew transfer flight -- no passengers or baggage, so the plane was very lightweight and harder to "stick" on landing than a normal flight. There were (unconfirmed) reports that it bounced high on touchdown. If the thrust reversers were inhibited by a weight-on-wheels sensor during the bounce (a normal safety precaution to prevent accidental use in flight, but I'm not sure if that's how the Tu-204 works), then the reversers couldn't be used during the bounce. From the speed it hit the highway, it looked like the pilot might have attempted a late go-around, with (unconfirmed) reports that the crashed cockpit had the thrust levers in TOGA position. Brake failure might also be involved, but it wouldn't be needed if all the other holes lined up like that.

  8. ...The copyright thing is only slightly ironic... Suppose its also not really a "drawing," but I often do these airline concepts in photoshop

  11. OKAY BRINGING THIS FORUM BACK ON TOPIC. HERE ARE SOME SHOTS OF THE NEW WHITE TEXT SYSTEM FOR THE PLANE, THIS SYSTEM WILL MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO ADJUST THE CONTRAST OF THE TEXT WITHOUT AFFECTING THE SURROUNDING METAL (like in R+P's 777) Also, a beautiful new paint for the Qatari 787 by Mhuerta

  13. This is a new concept I've been working on. It still needs a bit of 'fleshing out', but I think you'll agree, it's showing a lot of promise.

  14. Hello everyone. I have made a video tutorial divided in 3 parts for all those that don't like reading too much, but want to have the support on the PFD files. Sorry about my english! (sometimes I even don't understand myself haha) Ok.. I wanted to say you also that please post (not only here. Spread the word!) if you like the plane and everything is fine, and having fun. It is very important for us, let you know others that you like the plane. Not all people that has the CRJ have problems with it and disagree. Please you are the one that will make this project success or not. Thanks PART 1 PART2 PART3
