  1. Thats what happens if you trust a computer. Use a rule of thumb for your descents AND make use of your terrain radar ;-) ;-) Oliver Gesendet von meinem SM-T810 mit Tapatalk
  2. Job well done, i have a good FPS 45+ . TstFlight from LGAV to LGSK. Thank you very much. Oliver
  3. If you are flying within the "tile" of the airport, no problems. If you are entering this tile, like LGAV - LGSK, you will notice. And you will be almost maxed out on vram (>7.5GB). The author is aware and a update should be available soon. (AFAIK) Oliver Gesendet von meinem SM-T810 mit Tapatalk
  4. Aviotek promised a (quick) update..... TIC - TOC, goes the clock ;-) Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk
  5. Hello Captains, since there was no answer to this subject, i like to hijack this one ;-) With a self-made gear-lever and a Bodnar interface i like to control the gear lever of the IXEG 733. So far: Dataref to manipulate : /ixeg/733/gear/gear_handle_act Values to be used : "0" = UP "1" = Down "0.5" = Neutral Bodnar Switch Numbers "480" =GEAR UP "481" =GEAR DOWN The DIY Levers position is detected via 2 micro-switches (up/down) and if necessary !? by a third one for neutral. I tried to get this working with a lua-script using either create_switch, create_positive_edge_flip or positive_edge_trigger. The micro-switches will be "ON" when Lever-position is achieved (UP / DOWN) and stay "ON" until moved to "neutral" position. Leaving the "UP" / "DOWN" position it should default to "0.5" That was my idea of doing it ;-) Problem: None of the above mentioned Lua commands worked for me (in combination, it works for a single switch, but not for both assigned) If someone could help with me this (As of now, i am only using a lua-script to assign buttons and levers PER aircraft, so no "do often" / "do ... etc

  7. Same problem here, I talked to the developer already. Go ahead and open a ticket at X-Aviation or better, contact the developer via Facebook chat. They didn't believe me, even when I told them the reason AND solutions to the problem. Oliver Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk

    Skiathos

Skiathos is very beautiful, but it needs a serious update. On approach to rwy 20 I got several seconds of freezing while loading the tiles. Lots of them are in png format, where dds is the better choice AFAIK. Cheers Oliver Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk
  10. To quick: i am referring to windshield effects. WX radar - different story Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk
  11. This is not true. XEnviro works excellent with this bird. Don't believe? Check YouTube Search IXEG rain /snow effects ;-) Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk
  12. Are you guys getting CTDs with default XE clouds and shaders? Or is your XE modded? AND, please report your bug to XE ticket system. They say, they haven't got any reports recently. Gesendet von meinem SM-T810 mit Tapatalk
  13. Okay, misread. Thanks for clarification. Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk
  14. Had to dig this out again ;-) I read (believe Cameron was the author) that possibly the weather radar display could be the reason for some of the CTDs (NOT saying that IXEG bird is the reason) In case: does that mean (by chance) if i leave it switched off, the chances are somewhat higher not getting a crash. Or simply because it is programmed and there, could cause xEnviro and IXEG don't play well together? Is there any talk going on, between the xE guys and you, to solve the possible issue? I'd realy like to see both products to play together nicely ;-) Right now, i am flying with default clouds (no crashes, but they are damn ugly ;-) ) Oliver Gesendet von meinem SM-T810 mit Tapatalk
  15. Better make sure *failures* is set to off, Jan. Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk
  16. Yes, i switched it off, first time i read about it. Long time ago. And kept it off. Oliver Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk
  17. My finding still is: Whenever I use XEnviro with /without the IXEG i am experiencing crashes from time to time. Not reproduceable. More flights completed than crashed. Most of the time i can see, that if, the crash happens during a weather update. Logfile date/time I assume, the crash is caused by XE not reaching their servers for whatever reason. (fast & reliable internet connection available here) Without XE installed I am able to finish every flight without problems. With XE installed its kind of win or loose ;-) Oliver Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk
  18. Just tested it today, XP11, 733 v1.02. No sound. Volume knobs Nav1, Nav2 pressed /lit/loud. Tested with 2 different Frequencies at LEAL airport. (VLC 116.1 and ALT 113.8) Can someone check please, if this is working at all? EDIT: ok, i was able to hear the morse by pushing the master volume of the IXEG preferences all the way up. But still relatively faint. So it is working. If there is a way for the DEVS to turn up the volume in general, that would be nice ;-) BTW the NAV1 / NAV2 volume knobs have no functionality in respect to volume ?? So only ON / OFF ?? Thanks Oliver Gesendet von meinem SM-T810 mit Tapatalk
  19. Make sure you have a *coroutes* folder inside your xaviation/ixeg. Give your route a name FIRST (scratchpad) , before hitting *save* (like EDDFKSEA) You'll find a EDDFKSEA.fpl inside that *coroutes* folder which is still a plain text file, which you be able to edit or create in the future by yourself. The format is self-explainatory. So you can paste your Flightplans from other sources, BUT you NEED to edit them to the correct Format though. i.e. DCT reads then DIRECT. You will figure it out ;-) Oliver Gesendet von meinem SM-T810 mit Tapatalk
  20. AFAIK the latest version gives a warning when the volume is set to low/off in settings. I may be wrong. Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk
  21. I am getting these crashes as well, but wouldn't put it on version 1.2. I removed XEnviro and I am able to complete all my flights. I am almost sure that XEnviro is the reason. Looks like whenever xE is updating weather AND is not able to reach their server at this time, a crash is probable. Let's hope, this is fixed in xEs next version, whenever it will arrive. Until then, I'll use XPs default weather, which is not to bad as well. Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk
  22. I am almost sure, that this is on purpose, just to give you the *real* feel ;-) Gesendet von meinem SM-T810 mit Tapatalk
  23. Thanks Jan, good to know. I'll try today afternoon ;-) Gesendet von meinem SM-T810 mit Tapatalk
  24. Thanks Tom Stian and mmerelles for your replys. Fully understood (i read the FCOM as well ;-) My understanding was, that the T/C indicator position is calculated based on the above mentioned parameters on a continuous basis.( whenever a/c is in a climb phase ) In my case: First level-off - cruise - step-climb - level-off (If I recall correct, its like that an the NG, same for T/D) We'll see how the XP11 flightmodel and VNAV is doing once its updated ;-) Anyway: enjoying this aircraft everytime i fly it BTW: will StepClimb (S/C point) somehow modelled ?? (since its avail in r/w according FCOM ??) Best Oliver
  25. Hi everybody, i saw this today: EETN - EDDF Initial FL 330, later on climbing FL350. As you can see, i reached FL350 well before (40NM) prior the indicated T/C. Actually that screenshot was taken also late, because i was waiting for the indicator to vanish ;-) But it did not, even when passing that point. You might want to look at this. Regards Oliver XP11.02 R1 Build 110201 (64bit), Windows 10. IXEG 1.1
