Got my discount code this morning and bought the Classic Plus right away. I just wanted to say "wow!". It's really looking good and I look forward to fly it later this week, when time permits. Great stuff! Now I can retire XP11

Yes, you can upgrade for the neat price of $15 for 60 days since last friday, then the price becomes full retail. No, it's not personal. Not all of us got notified. I created a ticket for the lack of discount code (on x-aviation.com) last friday and received my discount code early this morning. It'll get fixed, it just takes some time. The ability to fly this bird in XP12 for a mere $15 makes me patient

Would be a great resource for pilots who wish to educate themselves and to point people to, I think. I also like the 'things not going to be in vX.X' post as it makes it transparent about what to expect, now and in the future

I don't mind waiting a bit at all, but a bit more information about the timeline would be greatly appreciated.

You bought an XP11 plane, you can't expect developers to continue to support new versions of the sim till eternity. I do understand what you're saying about updates, but it will be like you describe anyway, since the 733 upgrade to XP12 was already announced as free.

Developers need to eat too and in this world we live in, money dictates a lot of stuff (unfortunately). Like priorities, which differ for all of us. Like, I would like the 733 to fly in XP12, you'd rather have a helicopter in XP12. That's all fine ofcourse, we'll see what happens

I wouldn't mind paying an upgrade fee either, especially if it would mean we could fly it in XP12 sooner In any case, it'd be happy to help in testing.

I recently upgraded my PC and moved from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I own the IXEG. Re-activating was no problem at all. I think it's no problem in general, with normal usage.

Congratulations on reaching this goal and milestone. It must be awesome to be able to focus on the things you love to do! I for one am looking forward to the future IXEG updates. It's by far the plane I fly the most, I enjoy it every time I fly it. Thanks for sharing! And for responding to a question we all know we shouldn't ask developers

Thank you for your answer. Not all use cases are the same I guess I understand what you're saying and although I don't agree fully, I really respect the way you interact with the IXEG userbase. So thanks for looking at it anyway and as we say 'no is also an answer'

I understand Jan, and a thing like this should never be the default behaviour (which is also not what I suggested, to avoid confusion ). It would be nice to have the option to enable it, since not everyone is flying 1 hour flights with full focus in the cockpit. Especially on longer flights we have to deal with IRL situations that require attendance (be it in a pandemic or not): kids, work from home, partners, etc. Until I win the lottery, 5 hour focused flights will be rare
