  1. I'll have to confirm, but I think I remember that the tow is only to be used on hard surfaces. I just tried it on a grass surface, and it wouldn't move. The smoke isn't brake smoke. It's "dust" from the grass/dirt.
  2. What happens if you do it on a hard surface/asphalt/concrete?
  3. My guess is you have something holding the brakes, or the brakes are not actually off. Are you sure you are pressing the foot brakes, turning the park brake off, then releasing the footbrakes, confirming they are released by checking their position, then trying to use the tow? I have tested this, and checked with some other people running the TBM, and they are having no problems. Even aerox, in the above post, seems to be having no problems.
  4. I've just run a few tests and discovered something. If you have throttle hardware, and it's set to control the power lever, it will also control the tow. Full forward will push the tow causing the TBM to go into reverse and full back will pull the tow causing the TBM to go forward. EDIT: The throttle on your hardware will override the mouse when you try to move the slider. So using the mouse will have no effect.
  5. I need the log.txt file.

  7. Under Vulkan, it won't work. The next update will have this fixed, but for now, you'll need to run this under OpenGL.
  8. @rkarp You could always use the X-Plane 11.00 navdata. This problem came with the 11.50 navdata.
  9. We've had a few people who have a dedicated multi monitor setup for their simming, and this issue is a bit of an annoyance. Saso will look into it and see if something can be done, but no promises.
  10. Is this the problem you are experiencing?
  11. Known bug. Is fixed for the coming update.
  12. Sure, the TBM looks fine, but the maintenance manager section will likely give you problems. (That's what I was referring to.)
  13. Unfortunately, the TBM was not made for a multi screen setup. I think I saw someone made some kind of config file for it so people could use it for 3 monitors, but I can't remember where it was posted.
  14. That definitely should not be happening, and I just tested it on my end, and the tow does work. If it happens again, can you post the TBM900_log.txt. I'm suspecting something else is locking your brakes.
  15. Didn't even occur to me. When you load the TBM, you're in the pilots seat. You had to open the door to get in there.
  16. Maybe some time in the future, we can revisit it as an upgrade option, but for now, we have our plates well and truly full.
  17. I'll add that to the whiteboard/fix list
  18. No ETA yet. librain is still showing a few issues that need to get fixed.
  19. @Rivegauche610, maybe this will help?
  20. In what reality would you expect this to get a pleasant, respectful and courteous response?? This was the very first line of your very first post in this thread. Absolutely no one will roll over to this.

Reduce the number of traffic in the aircraft menu to zero. There is a very strange bug, that AMD is aware of, that can cause X-Plane to crash sometimes while in full screen mode on AMD chips. The workaround for this, is to have another window open in the open background, while running X-Plane in full screen mode...OR...run X-Plane in windowed mode.

Yes. Purely just to test. Also, another question. Are you running in full screen mode or windowed mode?
  23. It definitely shouldn't be happening, anyway. I watched someone stream the TBM within the last week, and he had no problems in the latest version of X-Plane. This definitely looks like some kind of hardware calibration issue or some kind of script forcing the trim to do things it shouldn't be doing.
  24. The only thing I can think of is that you have 1 button or key press assigned to 2 functions. I can safely say this is not a bug because this is the first time I’ve seen this happen in 2 years since the TBM came out.
  25. Go into maintenance manager and check trim linkages. You likely had a tail strike, or the the aircraft dropped on loading and damaged them.
