Are you able to record a video of this? Something to try, in X-Plane 11/Output/SR22, delete the contents of that folder to reset the physics model in case something got messed up there.

You appear to be on an old version of the M20 PB that no longer activates. You can re-run the installer from X-Aviation to install the latest version of the M20 Collection. Once installed, since the latest G5 versions now have the g5.cfg file live in the aircraft's folder themselves, not nested inside the aircraft/plugins/g5/settings, you can place the attached g5.cfg file in C:\X-Plane 11/Aircraft/X-Aviation/M20 Collection/M20R Ovation II G5/ g5.cfg

To pan the map, first press the center of the push-pan knob to enter pan mode. Then you can use the up/down/left/right controls to slew the map.

If you aren't seeing it with just one monitor connected, I believe there is an option to re-collect Windows under Plugins->Gizmo64, but @Ben Russell would know more.

Hi Paul, Taking a look at the log, there are two things going on. The log shows you not logged into Gizmo (which handles activation of the G5). Sign in via the signup dialog. If it isn't showing, try temporarily unplugging all monitors except for your main X-Plane monitor and signing in, then reattaching them The G5 doesn't appear to be installed for this aircraft. You need to run the G5 per-aircraft installer on each aircraft you wish to use the aircraft with. In the main X-Plane folder, there should be a "G5 Aircraft Installer" which is installed after running the main G5 installer from the X-Aviation website. Running the G5 Aircraft Installer, select the aircraft of interest (C:\newSteam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft/Laminar Research/Carenado Archer_II_v3.2/, based on what I am seeing in your log file).

In order to debug what is going on, we will need you to send us a copy of the X-Plane log.txt file. You can find a guide to get this file here: How to find the X-Plane log.txt file?

Nothing was changed in relation to the CDI with this version, we have this bug as something to look into.

Ok, I checked into this, as you had the old version installed, you'll need to run the per-aircraft installer once with this new version. We now save where you run the installer, so for future updates, it should update automatically.

The RSG G500 hardware is coming soon, but it auto-pops to the RSG G1000s currently.

Did you download the fresh G5 installer from the X-Aviation website and run that? From the log it appears you are still running G5 v1.2 (a very old version and no longer supported)

The in-sim popups will show centered around the mouse cursor. If you have RealSimGear hardware, the RSG plugin should communicate with the G500 to auto-pop-out to the hardware automatically.

Something you can try, in the aircraft -> plugins/sr_systems/settings/settings.cfg, you can set disable_mtuploader to 1.

From the looks of it, the OpenGL layer while running in Vulkan is not functional with that GPU driver. You can try without Vulkan enabled and see if that fixes things, but that is an unsupported hardware arrangement on our side, so there isn't anything we can do.

In the real aircraft, you'd make sure there is resistance to pushing the brake pedals. In this, just test the brakes by immediately using the brakes (testing both wheels independently) after first rolling before you get going too fast.

Most likely something is triggering the warning/caution during X-Plane start.

There wouldn't be a default aircraft type you can select for this -- the airframe is based off the Impulse 100, but this is highly modified with many times more performance (and fuel flow). Closest aircraft in SimBrief would probably be a TBM?

Yes, the G1000 is using the X-Plane G1000 with modifications with has its differences. We are looking into options to do a P+ system down the road, if we find suitable options, we will look into doing G6 options.

Hi Lennard, The G5 just follows the main X-Plane heading bug, so the default X-Plane heading commands should work. In X-Plane configuration they are under Navigation & Radios -> Autopilot -> "Autopilot heading up" and "Autopilot heading down"

Regarding the ELT, it would be in the virtual 3D cockpit to turn it off, I don't believe there are hardware switches for it with their setup. Regarding the engine, I'm not sure what would have caused that, but good the overhaul worked.

Regarding the alarm, does it sound like the standard G1000 warning bell, or does it sound like an ELT siren. If it is the ELT siren, you can turn off the ELT switch located near the circuit breaker panel in the pilot's footwell. Regarding starting the SR22, there are a few important guidelines for starting the engine successfully: Don't flood the engine. 2-3 seconds of priming is plenty When starting, keep the throttle at 1/4". If it doesn't start, slowly oscillate lower and higher until the engine properly starts If the engine doesn't turn-over properly, the plane's battery could be dead -- it can be recharged from the SR22 menu -> Toggle Aircraft Window -> Recharge Batteries.
