  1. Help us help you. Post your Log.txt file after a CTD happens.
  2. Hi @thomascats1, You're not going crazy, and what you say is accurate. We're aware of it and things are being addressed in the next free update. X-Plane has had a lot of flight model changes that has affected this to perform incorrectly over time.
  3. Great to hear. This file is in as a fail-safe, but in reality you should ensure your OS is completely up to date so you can use always current certificates that your OS provides.
  4. Those are not electronic that we linked you to. They are real books.
  5. Seems your computer certs are out of date. Please try renaming the following file: X-Plane/resources/plugins/Gizmo64.plugin/firmware/assets/ca_store/_cacert.pem To: cacert.pem (removing the underscore). Let us know if this allows you to activate.

  7. There is also one dedicated to the IXEG: https://www.utem.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=191
  8. I don't use Bit Defender, so I can't help you further on that other than to tell you it is the cause of the issue you are seeing.
  9. Disable Bit Defender or create an exception.
  10. Typical error with that. It's likely blocking the activation.
  11. Got BitDefender installed?
  12. We had internal discussions about this and decided to move the white text to our console message box ONLY when an error occurs in sim. You can download the updated plugin which removes the white text from the upper left here:
  13. This is not a support topic. Use the appropriate forums, please: https://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/forum/191-support/
  14. Did you not see the last bullet point in the originating post of this topic?
  15. So long as you run v20 you shouldn't need to.
  16. Make sure you run the 1.31 update. That means you'll need a fresh download for the new installer. Ben tells me the Gizmo 18 issue you have seen sounds like it's due to xjet, but keep in mind a certain beta product you are a part of requires v20.
  17. As I understand you, you stated Gizmo 20 does not crash, but Gizmo 18 does. A new IXEG update was released today, and that update includes the ability to install Gizmo 20 beta, newer than the version you currently have installed. Please refer to my last response to you.
  18. Respectfully and bluntly: No one is forcing you to run a beta. If you don't like it, run the stable version of Gizmo. The end goal is to get to a final Gizmo v20 product, at which time the message will be removed. This does assist that process, like it or not. It's also not going to be something up for debate. This is not a matter of trying to be rude, just real.
  19. You are using an old beta version. The only one we can provide support for would be the one in the IXEG installer.
  20. This is a bug we are aware of, but haven't been able to figure why. It is in some way related to the beta version of Gizmo. Your choice here would be to reset in a turn around state, or change to stable Gizmo.
  21. Can we at least get a screenshot of what you're seeing?
