  1. So, what does "high enough" mean? How high has the reflection setting be to see those effects?
  2. Sorry to bring up an old thread - with Cross The Pond coming up and people wishing to use IXEG for a transatlantic flight, could you propose any workarounds to solve this issue? Such a shame as it would be possible in the real thing. Willing to mess around a bit as necessary.
  3. So is the crashing with Jardesign's Ground handling with Ixeg fixed?
  4. But theoretically, on these older software model FMCs, would the throttles advance and take the aircraft to the air, or would it just not engage?
  5. From what I gather, it is never done on the ground. My question is, would pressing FLCH or VNAV on the ground also activate TO/GA and advance throttles in the real aircraft like it does in the IXEG? Or are other reasons why you should never do it in a Classic? I know it is a hypothetical question but I'd greatly value anyone's input with knowledge! Thanks!
  6. I'd like to know that as well, please, if there is a way!
  7. KLGA KBOS. 22 DCT MERIT ROBUC2 22L. Soft crash appeared when selecting TAKEOFF 2. page.
  8. EETN, rw 08 ORTA1S departure. TN720 has been manually entered, as it didn't come up with the SID, but either way the direction of departure is wrong. I have seen it in several other airports but unfortunately did not write them down. Bug?
  9. Let me start of by saying I am immensely enjoying flying this beauty. Best add-on for XP yet, hands down. Hopefully the quirks I'm bringing out are not too nitpicky and I'm sure you have quick answers for most of the questions. And I apologize for the errors in my knowledge. The CDU "guides" the pilot through various CDU pages. Following Mike Ray's book and various other Boeing simulations these pages should be IDENT - POS INIT - RTE 1 - PERF INIT - N1 LIMIT - TAKEOFF. The reality in the sim is somewhat different, taking us through IDENT - POS INIT - RTE - TAKEOFF, where we can take a step back to PERF INIT. Furthermore the steps are different moving back and forth. Is there something I'm missing, or will the CDU be modified later on? I also don't get a PRE-FLIGHT COMPLETE message. Is this something that will be implemented in the future, possibly with the ability to update FMC position? On my last flight I noticed unpressurised aircraft showing cabin pressure 0 at KPHX at 1100 something feet. Is this normal or is there a bug? Trans altitude sometimes shows default value of 5000, sometimes 18000, both occurring in USA. Is it dependent on navdata? I am using navigraph. Last, admittedly very picky request - would it be possible to also sync stby altimeter to last used value, as primary instruments remember your last flight. Might be a limitation but could make things that little bit more immersive. I apologize once more if these questions have been addressed or are simply a fruit of my ignorance. Congrats for superb work and THANK YOU!
  10. You don't have to copy it manually. You can select the desired path into the coroutes folder. Make the Aerosoft Airbus field active under in export window and select Browse.
  11. I like the look of the digital gauges so that's what I'll rock.
  12. XP crashed multiple times for me aswell - looks like it might be VRAM overload for me though.
  13. So I'm presuming the same applies to the Saab?
  14. Removed plugins and controller and returned them, the issue seems to be gone for now. Raised the null-zones a little bit to remove any adverse effects from noise. Still encountered the issue where the pump wouldn't turn off after power-up, but a reload helped.
  15. I only have a simple joystick, nothing assigned for brakes and flaps but buttons. There's no visual evidence of any noise on any aircraft, but I will examine the controls closer. I've also encountered a situation when after powering up, immediately the pump activates and doesn't stop running. I will also remove every other plugin and report results tonight.
  16. Version 1.3. Using XP 10.45. Tried reinstalling, obviously no help. Tried loading a default Cessna, then the Saab, still the same results. Tried it on a Cargo and a Pax version. Hydraulics system is still leaking considerably while on the ground. Uploading a log file. Just to confirm, is it normal to sometimes see quite violent rudder movement, I'm presuming caused by wind? Its not really smooth, but quite firm. Doesn't happen all the time though and hydraulics system leaks regardless. Log.txt
  17. It might not have been exactly 20 seconds but definitely less than a minute intervals. I have also noticed, that on the ground wind tends to move the Saab's rudder and pedals. It is a slightly weird behavior but I guess plausible... I don't know if it is normal, if there is a connection or if it is noteworthy but worth a mention. I will do another flight today and see if anything is changed / measure the intervals if it is important. //Today, without any rudder movement the interval is exactly 65 seconds. Don't really know how to completely "reset" the aircraft without a reinstall?
  18. Flying today, the pump is activating every 20 seconds or so. The system leaks noticably, and when the needle reaches the bottom of the green arc, pump activates and brings the pressure to about half way of the green arc. Surely this is not normal behavior? I had to disable the sound in cruise because it is driving me insane! It started right after powerup and has continued to cruise.
  19. Beautiful work! Just tried it out for the first time, worked very well. A few things we noticed, for some reason my slave friend was getting emergency lights unarmed warning, although for me it was armed. He had to rise the gear as well for it to register on his screen, showed gear up after takeoff for me. Engine gauges vibrating unnaturally, a lot of noise for the slave. When keying in intersections, when scrolling too fast the letters go out of sync. Most of these things are probably underlying limitations and not helpful, but writing them down for anyone interested. Other than these few little details, and I am being very picky, it works like a charm! Seriously thank you so much for your efforts!
  20. I know every Estonian and more is hoping for this one
  21. It does indeed work - thank you! It's weird that I hadn't encountered the problem before. And good to hear there is an update coming!
  22. 1.3, should be the latest one?
  23. X-plane 10.45. Tried to fire this thing up after months but soon realized I'm not going anywhere. Tried reloading, restarting, reinstalling. Nothing. ALT SEL is stuck at 34000 and it's not going anywhere. Could someone confirm I'm not the only one? Log.txt
  24. PFPX isn't a certain simulator specific tool, it's a generic flight planner. It doesn't seem to support .fpl format for now, as discussed earlier somewhere if I recall correctly. I guess now the remaining option would be contacting PFPX devs to ask them for an option for .fpl, shouldn't be too difficult. This format works for several addons so it would be pretty useful on many levels.
