  3. Hello, all, This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released the version 3.1 update for SkyMaxx Pro. All customers who have purchased SkyMaxx Pro v3 up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete instructions on how to obtain your update. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase SkyMaxx Pro v3 from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated to version 3.1 for you. What if I didn't get the update e-mail? If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do: 1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviati...talog/login.php 2. View your past order history invoice that contains SkyMaxx Pro purchase on it. 3. At the bottom of the invoice you will find a blue highlighted link to your update that says: "SkyMaxx Pro v3". There are some important fixes and requests implemented in this update. The following is a list of additions/fixes included: What's New / Changed: Landing lights now illuminate clouds as you fly through them! Performance enhancements to reduce "stutters" when new cloud conditions are loaded Many overall performance enhancements More variation in cloud shapes More accurate cloud altitudes Visual improvements to solid and broken stratiform clouds Numerical setting values now displayed in the config screen New ability to save and load named configuration sets More tuning of cloud lighting, visibility, and shadow effects Ready for the upcoming Real Weather Connector product "Hi res clouds" option changed to selections for "Fast", "Soft", and "Crisp". 5. That's just LOD editing, just paste the line ATTR_LOD_draped 40000 onto the end of any disappearing ground texture and it should stop

  6. Everytime the product is updated, the download counter will be reset. So every version gives you three downloads. Funny enough [emoji16] ?!

  8. Glad to hear you're getting the fps back I've only had smp 3 since march 25th, after wasting install slots etc then seeing how amazing the clouds are, i thought it couldn't get much better Well v3.1 came along as i got up to greet the day, and wowsa, just took off from lowi headed to eddf, jaw dropped as i was plonked on the runway at lowi Looked just like something on a pilots-eye etc, kind of misty and low ground hogging clouds, headed 77degrees from lowi to gain speed at 1k/min, banked left then on auto pilot to climb to 12k, inbetween the clouds the sun shining through, breathtakingly lifelike (not a pilot irl but i mean by seeing vids etc) Astoundingly good hehe Again, i am now swamped in a mass of clouds, i'd guesstimate double easy to previously, and now i'm back at fps rates i had with v3 !! Double the eye candy for the same fps, dang it, that's what i call brilliance from the devs : EDIT, just alt-tabbed and gone into chase view mode, damn, i reckon i am x4 the amount of clouds at least !! Have Fun Tony

  9. I deleted the object file that was causing the error, so the conversion worked. But the ground textures are disappearing when you zoom out and I am not good at coding for X-Plane, so no solution for that at the time.

  10. Haha, I actually asked if you guys did something with how clouds are rebaked when transition occurs, becuase I used to get those annoying 1/2 second freezes with 3.0. Now they are completely gone... now clouds just fade away and everything feels and looks very fluid. That's the greatest change I could have hoped for from this update, and you guys more than delivered. Kudos to the entire team!

  11. Actually, you can open the cargo door from the outside, you just need to be in 3D cockpit mode.

This is my version of the Honolulu Intl. Airport (PHNL) on the Island of O'ahu, Hi. Even though it's not completely finished yet, I felt like sharing my progress with the community to enjoy. All in all it's a pretty accurate depiction of the airport using the Lego-Brick method with focus on the civilian part of the airport. All civilian terminals are modeled (Diamond Head, Central, EWA & Inter Island concourses) as well as the freight apron and the GA area in the South East. Special attention has been payed to taxi/apron markings which contribute nicely to the overall appearance. I plan to improve the package in future updates and include a more detailed Hickam AFB. This package works great with X-Aviation's RS Enhanced: Island of Oahu, HD Mesh V3 and X-Plane 10's default scenery. And last but definitely not least, I want to thank all authors for contributing their incredible work to the community and letting me use it for this scenery. Thank you very much!!! Features: Orthoimages from Pearl Harbor to Waikiki Main Concourses - Diamond Head, Central, EWA, Inter Island & GO Freight apron - main freight apron near the GA area in the East & small freight apron for Aloha Cargo west of the EWA concourse GA area - located in the south-east of the airport close to RWY4R with Hangars and marked tarmack tie downs Air National Guard - Ramp starts and shelters for fighter A/C in the far west of the airport F/A-22 Scramble post- located close to RWY8L Populated Gates - Gate are full with service vehicles and ramp equipment Autogate and DGSs - Marginal's awesome Autogate plugin has been used extensively to improve immersion HDR lights - nice lighting at night in the right places Highly accurate Taxiway-layout based on the ortho-imagery of RS Enhanced: Island of Oahu Highly accurate RWY/Taxi/Apron markings - including Gate Numbers, taxi restrictions, RWY & ILS holds as well as service roads Many ramp start locations - either for you to choose or for AI A/C to populate AI-Taxi-network - AI A/C taxi correctly along the specified taxiways Airport Flows - user and AI A/C will be assigned by ATC to the most appropriate RWY depending on wind conditions. (I'll try to include time rules as well to enable noise abatement during the night---> 4R & 8R for LDG) Test-features: High-rise buildings in Waikiki - I added a few skyscrapers to improve/create the skyline you normally see when departing eastbound Marina close to Honolulu Harbor - inspired by VogoonZarniwoop's "Friday Harbor Boats" package I added this to populate the airport surroundings If you like the Test-feature, tell me in the comments and I'll improve them in the next release. Requirements: OpensceneryX 2.0 - http://www.opensceneryx.com/ Ruscenery- http://ruscenery.x-air.ru/ FF Library - http://forums.x-plan...&showfile=12836 R2_Library: http://xplane.cz/en/r2-library/ Password: OK Optional but recommended: Marginal's Autogate plugin: http://forums.x-plan...s&showfile=5038 Real Terra Haze: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=22387 (Settings are included in the screenshots) As a last point I would like to ask the community for help. Now this package includes a wonderful Boeing B717 in Hawaiian's beautiful Pualani livery. All credit goes to Skycycle for granting permission to convert and use his model. Please ask for his permission, if you plan to use this object in your scenery package. Furthermore, I'd like to ask the community to create static A/C in Hawaiian Airlines liveries and post them here. Especially nice models of a B767 and an A330-200 would be very appreciated. Have fun!!!
