  1. As I chip away on the MU2. I realize that in a way, I'm trying to create my perfect sim experience. When I got into simming...It was VATSIM that caught my interest. At the time..there really wasn't any good 3D cockpits for xplane and I really wanted the immersion of being in a cockpit while flying on VATSIM. I was most interested in short IFR hops of 2 hours or less yet wanted to fly decent distances. Not being interested in airliner complexity or long jaunts.... I needed some speed, yet simplicity....and hence the MU2 project was born. As I test fly it now, getting ready for the upda

  4. I like 3D cockpits more also, BUT! If 2D cockpit is nice, not messed up and every button is recognisable, I like them more. In payware planes, they are expected (well for me anyway). I am learning making 3D cockpits, and I can tell you guys, It's really hard. And it's not beacouse Im just 13, but beacouse its really really REALLY hard! Cheers!

  5. Spent the day flying it in XP10 and making flight model refinements. Can confirm it flies beautifully. No problems whatsoever. Even the framerates (90fps) are more than acceptable with this latest update

  8. Hi, Tom, All of this makes sense...it's a permission issue. X-Plane was trying to read files it didn't have permission to read based on user account permissions. The same is happening with your scenery. To fix this, you can CHMOD your scenery files to 777. You'll need to do this recursively in terminal. A quick google search will show you how to do this...be sure to do the CHMOD under the user account for which you installed the scenery on.
