  1. Correct. It does not mean the update will be near immediate in any way, however. It just means we can finally start on it.

This is a livery for the Hot Start Challenger 650, inspired VP-BKM. To install, extract the zip file into the "liveries" folder. You can supply your own registration, VP-BKM is not printed on the stabilizer. If you enjoy my work, consider supporting me on Patreon to cover some of the horrendous Adobe-costs ;).

  3. I'm usually not that guy, but in this case, don't get your hopes too high. The last progress update (no, not aircraft update, just an update on the update) was in July last year, and since then, the developer keeps radio silence. It's been almost two years since the Moo last got an update (May 2023); bugs long known (missing click spot etc.) never got fixed (or the fix never published). That's sad for a $60 add-on, but nothing we can do about.

  4. Been learning/flying the CL650 over the past couple of weeks and thought I'd seen largely everything it had to offer. Then I get an oil pressure warning as we approach Skiathos. Turns out we should be checking the oil before each flight. As a RW pilot, I know this but am flabbergasted to see it modelled in the CL650. I've been simming for the best part of 40 years and have seen nothing like this. The rest of the industry really needs to see how far up the bar has been puished and attempt to rise to the challenge. Anyway, my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all behind this wonderful aircraft. Owain

  5. I only got the Hot Start Challenger very recently. Actually, this is what got me into X-Plane after all. And I have to say: this is by far the best aircraft simulation I've ever seen, and I've come a long way from the FS2004 days. I've not been flying anything else than the Challenger since I got it, and it seems it is going to stay that way. Every other simulation just pales in comparison. I've been waiting all my simmer life for a really good simulation of a heavier (i. e. super-midsize to large) business jet. And here it is! Too bad there are currently limitations by X-Plane itself (e. g. for weather radar or EVS), but I am sure the good people at Hot Start will get this done too as soon as X-Plane is up to it. I'm very excited about the future developments of the Hot Start Challenger!

  6. When the APU encounters a fault, you'll need to hop out of the plane and reset the APU ECU to clear the fault. Go to the tail of the aircraft near the cargo door, pop the latches and pull the little door open under the left engine nacelle: Inside you'll find a panel with 3 buttons. Push the "RESET" button, close it up and you should be good:
