System enhancements are planned. Other variants have always just been a point of discussion, and to be honest, don't count on it. Better to not expect that than to assume it's being done. No work has been put forth for the other models.

Great pictures! And I am happy that you seem to enjoy the plane, make sure you explore some of the options like using the "classical" steam-type instrument panel (you can switch on the fly)! Happy landings!

I just doublechecked, indeed the light in the forward entry area does NOT turn off when the cockpit door closes and the camera is in the cockpit area - I will talk to Tom and see if we want to implement this (again). Thanks for the headsup, @manguras!

Sorry its not getting updated as fast as any of us would like. I wake up every day and have to make decisions about what to work on and balance my requirements against the customers. They never align for everybody and never will. Its not abandoned, it will get updated and updates will be free for many many years to come. -TK

I can only image the amount of work re-modelling the 3d cockpit. Definitely not trivial. It is, however, great fun flying the IXEG with a clockwork cockpit, I've got it running all on a flat-screen trainer with Air Manager, just a lack of VNAV display. Essentially it's a re-engined 737-200Adv, takes a bit more thought than having a magenta line in front of you, and a lot more fun - mind you I'm sitting at home on a PC sim not doing this for real. If we could please have the data to next waypoint out of the FMC as datarefs that would simplify some of the coding, oh and datarefs for all the rheostats same as currently provided for the Overhead and Pedestal panel lights would be great as well. Here's hoping!

It is a contemporary misconception that a product is more valuable if it gets "frequent updates". The best product is the one that does not need updates - updating something means that it was in need of an update - hence not as good as one that is not in need of an update. The mode control panel works perfectly and if you are having problems with it (at least I can find nothing wrong with it and I flew the real aircraft for 10 years), I will go out on a limb here and say that you are not using it correctly. I thought we fixed the quick engine start...it was a problem with X-Plane itself, not our add-on. Let me test that when I get home on Tuesday, I will get back to you. The crash will likely go away if you delete all that cr*p you piled into your X-Plane installation and also update your Nvidia drivers.
