  1. Thanks for the info, yes I just stumbled across this as well so going to run another test as I think I've been using it wrong (don't know why, its Monday!)

  2. One of the guys I talked to flew the MD11. I gotta say, it surprising what I learn at these meetings. I learned the 717 is basically an upgrade to the MD11. It sparked a conversation among a couple of retired airline pilots. It was so interesting hearing some of the shenanigans they dealt with on the B732, B733 and, B734. Also what was interesting is their lack of appreciation of what is involved with modeling an aircraft for flight simulation. My challenge turned out to be why a dev would need access to someone who has access to the 717. They'd pull up stuff on the internet and say, everything they [devs] need is already on the internet. I hope I gave them some awareness of the level of authenticity today's flight sims possess and why it's important to have a 1st person source. Anyhoo, it was a fun conversation the 717 sparked. Thanks @tkyler.

  3. I agree on the overly sensitive castoring steering. I'm having to just caress the brake pedals on the TPR, else I'm all over the place. Even doing that, it's tricky. I have many hours in DA40s (RW), and, believe me, they are much easier to steer on the ground! Perhaps I will tweak the brake pedals sensivity, and that may well help. However, X-Plane has never been that good for taxiing....... Never mind. It's a great plane. Thanks.

  8. Sneak peek for the regulars....and a form of update I guess. All the cabin/galley 3D geometry is done...I'm working my way through the cabin currently, adding / texturing the smaller details and tweaking the lighting. A few more days of this I suspect, then I'll hit the final punchlist and tests with Jan. An unknown....XP12 b06 is hitting us devs shortly with some rendering changes...hopefully it won't affect us too much, if at all. Fingers crossed. -tk

  11. I'm unsure as of this very instant. There are some unknowns I need to get more info on, but am currently focused on the dev work atm so I haven't thought about it terribly much. Certainly we'll be working towards that native support asap and I expect I'll probably turn my attention to that in about a week or so as part of our final punchlist and QA work before deployment. -tkyler

  12. Thx Saso...I saw it in the dataref list and set it to 1, but it was immediately set back to zero so I didn't realize if it worked or not...I wasn't paying attention to the lighting..just 'poking around'. Certainly if its beneficial during the act of changing a lighting setting, then we'll put it in asap. -tk

  13. Unfortunately at the moment the devs attention is focused on the CL650 and the TBM900 isn't getting the attention it could do with right now.
