OFFICIAL SUPPORT: Official Bug tracker: https://bitbucket.org/iliastselios/p180_avanti/issues?status=new&status=open Support Forums: DESCRIPTION: As you might already know this aircraft is based on X-Plane's default P.180 Avanti , originally designed for X-Plane 8, was included in X-Plane 9, and from that point has been overhauled to Avanti II version. This is aircraft is totally FREE! It is a "return" to the X-Plane community that supported us those last 4 years that we exist as a development team! This aircraft main features are: High quality visuals, cockpit all new 3D model and textures, including PBR materials. Simulated: a. startup and shutdown procedures b. engine controls and operations c. autopilot controls and operations d. partially operation of the electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel systems. Emulation of Proline 21 avionics suite. Currently there is only one layout that will allow you to operate the aircraft in all scenarios. Many improvements will come in the future. Installation in the 3D cockpit of the default X-Plane 11 FMC. Improved flight characteristics. Internal custom lighting. Of course Avanti development is not stopping here! Actually the overall development will be continuous, and the aircraft will always be in beta stage. Updates and upgrades will be available frequently! Main planned future upgrades are: Adding more functionallity to Proline 21 avionics suite, heading from an emulation to a simulation. Custom NAV maps. Custom FMC. Fully simulation of all systems. New 3D model from ground up. Improved flight model. Avanti EVO. Special thanks to: Austin Meyer for giving his permission to use parts of the Avanti on this project and X-Plane by Laminar Research that gave us this magnificent simulator! The team that originally developed Avanti for X-Plane, Robert Pearson (aerodynamics), Massimo Durando (cockpit & 3D cockpit), and Javier rollon (External Model. JRollonPlanes www.jrollon.com) for his fantastic 3D work. @Hueyman for the propeller 3D model and the prop disc images. Ben Russell of Gizmo64 for his support and that made available to us that powerful tool (aka Gizmo), and Cameron Son of X-Aviation for the support. And of course X-Plane community for the interest in that project and patient to wait to be realized!

  2. I never use the "ref airport" in the real plane either, if I ever did they should probably arrest me!

  3. Thanks I will have a look. For now please do a test for me. Unzip and replace the scripts folder. This should work correctly now. scripts.zip

  4. I am also programming things with Arduinos as well as STM32 boards. If all you have ever done is programming on a PC then these will show you a complete new world where everything has to be carefully planned and thinked ahead. No more luxury, only the bare essentials to deal with. PhM

  5. Happy New Year to you too gmargodt! Very happy to hear that the aircraft brightens your day a bit! Over the years I've found that this hobby is a great way to escape from what reality throws at you sometimes, and I've seen it has helped other designer friends get through difficult personal times in the past. Hang in there, and and best wishes that 2018 will be a better year for you with more blue sky! M

  6. If it were a paid upgrade it would be no faster. Your speculation is very off.

  8. If it was mid February you might have a point. It's not. It's the middle of the Holiday Season. People have lives, that includes developers.

  9. From the LES Facebook page... I was wrong to assume, but it leads one to believe you two are having a problem. I apologize for my assumption. GD

  10. I'm not sure what any of what you just said means, especially the part about "'specific details'?$". I can only assume that you know nothing of the inner workings or reasonings, so any assumptions you have are assuredly way off. Goran is giving you guys optimism and false hope without lying that it will be a few weeks. We may as well kill that now and make expectations reasonable rather than a stampede a week from now asking why it isn't out when Goran made it seem like it would/could be. Nothing will change that outcome. The whole "first impressions" talk is nonsense when it comes to this update.

  11. Damn it. A few weeks because of "specific details"?$ I'm desperately missing my Saab and situations like this do more harm than good to each of your brands. The X-plane community is gathering new potential customers everyday, and you don't get a second chance to make a first impression. Please try to expedite things for your common good (and mine). Peace, GD

  12. Well, you talked about a specific detail you were missing from Goran, so yes we know nothing about your inner working but since you explain nothing you cannot blame us for not understanding....
