Help Needed: Button assignments missing Going through the available buttons to program in X-Plane, I've noticed on heck of a lot of missing - vital - options. I need autobrakes for the main panel of the 737. Not an option as a "selector," only an "up down" option. Same thing goes with the EFIS zoom and modes. I was pleased that the map display buttons are their own thingies. Even the X737 custom commands don't have an autobrakes setting thing. Driving me a bit nuts. Basically, I'm wondering if there is a plugin out there that makes it possible to actually have rotary selectors to select your EFIS/ECAM modes and zoom levels. They are buttons in X-Plane by default, so it should be possible to set a joystick to do the same. Right now I will have to use (ON)-OFF-(ON) switches as up/down toggles. Edit: Looks like there is a great python utility... which I can't make work... for this purpose.1 point

Hi Tony, What I'm saying is that I had no issues with SMP 3.2 and X-Plane 10.45 (and neither the IXEG 737 nor the PMDG DC6-B, both being my current favourite planes). With SMP 3.2 and 10.50b4, I did have an issue, but it was specifically happening only on very long flights, and I had it in conjunction with terrain loading issues (tiles loading only when crossing the border right into it). Very hard to reproduce since I had to fly for 4-5 hours before it happened, so not exactly a good receipe for reproducibility. I was not able to narrow down where exactly the gremlin was hiding; I even don't have a proof that the suspicion of VRAM leak or fragmentation holds true; it was just Frank's (however very plausible) conclusion by looking at the symptoms. When SMP 3.2.1 was released, I installed it and intended to re-test, just to discover that Ben had meanwhile pushed 10.50b5a to the servers. Since I didn't want to run two flights of 6 hours each, one for seeing of SMP 3.2.1 brings any change, and one for checking that b5a fixes the tile loading issue, I upgraded to b5a and did a check ride just beyond the risky threshold - nothing odd happened, the tiles are now loading as expected, and I didn't see any drop of the frame rate, even with really evil(tm) scenery loaded. Conclusionwise, it's somewhat intricate - It could be that a change in SMP 3.2.1 prevented the issue from occurring again, or - more plausible, a change in X-Plane's beta (maybe even just a compiler flag or whatever and not even the code itself) cleared off the problem. Or maybe (and that's one I also cannot exclude) the problem is still there, and I missed reproducing it for whatever reason (could be it now sets off later, after 7 or 8 hours of flight, or I didn't have the "right" terrain tiles loaded, or METAR was more gentle today, or ... - well I think you got my point there...). As only factors I can rule out, there's the Nvidia driver version (didn't change it for a couple of weeks now), and heat (water-cooled rig, custom fan profiles, and constant monitoring of the temperature, so I would have known if it had increased beyond thresholds set clearly below manufacturer-indicated thresholds). That's why I said I would keep an eye on it just in case it occurs again, but I will not deliberately try reproducing it by flying the same 6 hours leg again and again - it just get's boring, and after all, there are more obvious bugs to go looking after in the beta1 point

Hello all There is no reason prevent coexisting with default functions X-Plane provides. I think we all are mature users and we are able to estimate how we are using your SW we are running on our own computers. That does not prevent you for further development and does not hurt any copyright. I think you see this too narrow. Kind Regards Jack1 point

Cameron, I understand that mixing in default clouds isn't supported, and never will be, by SkyMaxx. The majority of users won't even think of the possibility, let alone actually try it. However, since it doesn't actually change anything about SMP itself, but simply is a modification of datarefs (no different than, say, using RTH) I kindly request to leave it to us wether we want to enable the default clouds or not. SMP is a tremendous enhancement to X-Plane, but it isn't perfect and adding default clouds gives us (especially those with less potent hardware) a chance to balance things out a bit. Again, no support is required or expected, but please don't block other plugins just for the sake of it. Thank you for considering! Steve1 point

Yes, I see It is in users responsability if he decides to change something what Xplane offers (changing datarefs) and intermix with third parties solutions. And yes, he payed a license for using and not for changing.. It's clear that you want avoiding change functionality in your product by the user. But this is only a change in XPlanes interface and not in SMP or in its functionality itself. Of course, if something not works correct it is not your problem. But in this case it can easely recovered by the user. It's sad, I see your point of view. However, it would be nice if you would allow some room of users choice. Thank's anyway1 point

Repaint in Varig PP-VOH colors for the amazing 737-300 model from IXEG! This is a totaly new repaint, diferent than the PP-VNV. There is more detais in this one and a diferent belly metal with some "fake" reflections and a bit brighter than the other one. Diferent engines and wings textures as well, showing more the "gaps" and a bit dirtier than the other repaints i made, but only the oil, the aircraft body i tried to keep it a bit more clean. I did some modification with the glass temp textures too. I hope you like it! Varig reg: PP-VOH1 point
