  1. We have been testing the Saab with the Private Beta of 10.3 and so far everything seems to be working as expected. Therefore, you should have no problems when 10.3 is released. Any serious bugs that are found after the 10.3 release will be dealt with immediately.

  2. File Name: Real Terra Haze File Submitter: SPAS File Submitted: 05 May 2014 File Category: Plugins and Utilities Current version is 2.11 This is an add-on script for FlyWithLua based on the findings of user PASCAL_LSGC over at AVSIM about the raleigh scattering controls. It implements these controls so they are automatically tuned based on the sun elevation (the light veers towards reddish tones when the sun is low on the horizon) and plane altittude (gains go up as you go up). Requires FlyWithLua!!! Get it here please take time to read this from Ben Supnik The art controls are not a public interface to make X-Plane add-ons. They are an internal development tool. They are unsupported, undocumented, unsafe, and most importantly subject to change with every patch of X-Plane. If you create an add-on that requires reading or writing the art controls, you can expect that your add-on will stop working when X-Plane is updated. When your add-on breaks, please do not complain or file a bug. Just slap the scripts in your ../resources/plugins/FlyWithLua/scripts folder. Please read the readme. If you have installed Sky Maxx Pro, the shadows of the clouds will not be displayed. Script by SPAS (leave him a PM on the forum if you want) Thanks to MAT18590 for all the support and inspiration (and for setting the RGB and raleigh values straight) content kindly provided by x-pilot users Tom Knudsen and slai have been used in the scripts. Hope you enjoy it. see a couple of videos from the user Emer1976 and PS the scripts are free and free to redistribute or modify. If you do modify them for the better it would be nice to get that feedback.Click here to download this file

  3. Well, the 777-300 is ok, but the 777-200LR has a way to big landing gear… And did you ever see a Simulator with really realistic clouds? I think that is just not possible because the real ones are way to complex… Anyways this topic was not supposed to start discussing about other products

  6. Guys, I can only - again - point you to my HD mesh Scenery V2 project, which - at least for Europe and North America - already has much newer OSM data (approximately end of September 2013) included: http://www.alpilotx.net/downloads/x-plane-10-hd-scenery-mesh-v2/ The HD Mesh Scenery v2 is generated with the same technology as the default Global Scenery (effectively, I am the guy who is doing most of the data juggling anyways on behalf of Laminar ...), but it has a lot of things already update compared to the Global Scenery, and also has a much denser triangle mesh. With Laminar Mesh recuts its not just the computation time (well, at the moment for a project like my HD Mesh Scenery v2, which doesn't covers the entire planet ... but at higher res ... it takes maybe about a month from fetching fresh OSM data, preparing everything and generating the files ... plus testing etc. takes a bit extra). But Laminar also needs to take care of the re-distribution of such files etc. ... well, and all this, while they have hundreds of other things to do (where an equal number of customers is nagging their ears). Thats where HD mesh Scenery v2 fills the gap and gives you even some more eye candy ... for free ...

  10. This thread has deteriorated rather rapidly from its original purpose and the behavior being aired out here will not be allowed to continue. There are many better ways to handle these issues. This thread is now closed.

  11. Got the bridge pretty much working, but the deployment and support would've been problematic. It just wasn't a production-grade solution. So, I'm just pulling the trigger and going with a full 64-bit implementation. The first step is a single, unified build for win 32, win 64 and Mac. That is now done...the installation is much simpler than before, it's a fat plugin with a single folder that you drop into place. I just need to pick a date and pull the trigger now. I'll post updates here. In other news, the recently-released Mac 32-bit client does allow you to use the COM2 radio now (like the Windows plugin does). Additionally, ATC can now trigger system failures from the scope. It's pretty neat stuff. That feature is mostly used by commercial clients, but we have tested it with a few retail customers (with their permission...they just didn't know what failure was coming, or when).
