Hi, after the Piper PA-11 was published a few moths ago, I´m working in a new G.A Project. With a lot of work to do yet, here are the first images... Work still in progress.
It's okay, I found an XP10 plugin on the net called 'Scenic Flyer' which puts a small instrument panel in the corner of your screen when in external views, with airspeed/ altitude/ heading dials..
The object is a complete object as it's easier to place and match the footprint, however I still have the original blender files which have each part as a seperate object, i.e. the pumps, canopy and shop. Also, the object could be imported into blender easily enough and the relevant parts extracted out as separate obj files.
Latest screenshots, before aircraft release. XPlane 10 version will be available in few days... Two paint schemes (Red and Blue), Yokes, wheel pants, and GPS will be show or hide, as you like, "Fluorescent ultraviolet" Panel lights. Animated parts and more... Regards
I'm not one for censoring, but giving this individual any kind of platform for discussion after a borderline copyright infringement is not a discussion we will have.
Sorry guys!
Let's just say for the sake of conversation that ethics have been stretched pretty thin... Case in point, it wasn't until the freeware developer was called on the fact that he even used identical names for the themes for his initial release that forced the change for v0.3. He even admitted to having been "greatly inspired" (his words) by John's work. IMO, it's a little too similar to be considered anything but a shameless copy. That said, I'm not a copyright or patent attorney. EDIT: I have MaxxFX and took a look at BLU-fx (at least he changed the case of "FX") and still find MaxxFX very much worth the money.
Fallen a bit behind on my photo library, so here's just a few that I really like. The approach into Toronto Pearson is so awesome. ... and departing from and arriving at Vancouver is just breathtaking from any direction. So happy that I finally debugged all conflicts with my CRJ. No more obnoxious crashes! Landing at Montreal Trudeau Using the Realistic Skycolors for XPX by Abdullah Almuntassir in conjunction with SkyMaxx Pro --> AWESOME. Flying from Prince Rupert to Vancouver
So today I did a few minor and 1 major change first I changed the .HDR I use for the sky for a more mid-afternoon one and also increased the sky emmision value by 2.1 I also changed the gloss affect on the B29 fuselage (Material.035) to a more white instead of the grey I also moved around some of the static aircraft for my signature and FINALLY added props to the engines!!! oh and the major change was moving the camera EDIT: still am wondering how I hit D instead of T when typing to
An healthy discussion is nothing to fear Harry, however these my be Anyway, back to topic.. I for one did not go the distance and bought the MAXXP as I did not see the value of it. Now I can try it for free and see what the fuzz is all about (yet anyway). But is it fare to say this is a piracy without any judgement in the case or just a freeware to be tried out, and if it is a true copy or something similar is it then cudos or hell no to the author, and why should one buy MAXXP when this is free? See my curiosity sirs? Where is the line of conduct here?
